This Eureka PowerSpeed Turbo Spotlight Vacuum is way better then I expected! It's very lightweight so this vacuum slides fast and effortlessly on the hardwood floors. The only thing is the bottom of the vacuum is very flat so you might have to pick it up to suck up things other then dust or dog fur. When I just vacuumed with this normally it would not even suck up a little bit of a piece of dog food. But I noticed when I lifted up the vacuum it went over something bigger in the dust just fine. I think this vacuum has great feature add ons to make a deeper closer clean. I used one of the little brushes that looked like the end of a mini vacuum on my couch and it got up most crumbs and some dog hair as well. I love the light feature on the bottom of this vacuum because I can get hairs or dust I would not be able to see with just looking and glancing at the floor myself. The spotlight on this Eureka PowerSpeed makes for an easy better clean to get everything you see with the light that shines on every bit of the floor. 

This vacuum works very well with the carpet too. The carpet we have is pretty low and not a high carpet and there's settings to adjust on all levels at the bottom of the vacuum. The only thing is it resists going back and fourth on the carpet so the TurboSpeed part is not on the carpet I find. The nice part about using this on the carpet is it feels like a very deep clean so as you muscle your way through pushing it up and down. I find it's a very close deep clean because of this. So the contact to the floor on this vacuum is very close. I also LOVE that the container is longer and bigger so I don't have to stop cleaning and empty out all the dust right away. I find other vacuums are way smaller and don't give you a bigger container so you have to stop and empty it out more often. The best part is this vacuum doesn't suck up and catch all the wires around the house. Too many horror stories of other vacuums destroying wires by getting caught on the bottom. The cord is not the longest but a fair length compared to other vacuums as well. 

The look of this vacuum is pretty sleek and I love the yellow color that compliments it as well. I like the look and option of the three different brush features on this Eureka to be able to attach and use the hose as needed. I find just like every other vacuum it's hard to stretch it out without the vacuum coming along with you too. All in all I don't have that much to complain about and love this vacuum. I would recommend if you are looking for a nice lightweight vacuum with good features for a better clean. I find that it's speedy and easy on bare floor but the carpet isn't that speedy and easy to vacuum. All in all great clean and nice quality. These are my honest opinions for being able to test this out for my thoughts.

Power Speed Indeed!

The Euraka power speed turbo vacuum is great for pet owners, I have 4 cats and believe me I have pet hair issues. This vacuum is bagless so no purchasing bags...ever so huge plus for me. It's easy to assemble right out of the box with few pieces to attach and speaking of attachments it has then and they are great tools to use. You just pull the hose off down near the base of vacuum and attfach and you are good to go. It also has a LIGHT making it easy to see the area you are vacuuming a big plus. I have taken photos so you can see what you get when you take it right out the box and also one of after I vacuumed my 5x7 rug, look at all the hair it got up! Wow! The only thing I did not like is it has a kind of high pitched noise when it's on not too annoying but you do hear it. I love it and seeing how well it did on my area rug on pet hair, glad I got one!

Great vacuum if you are a pet owner!

The Eureka PowerSpeed Turbo Spotlight Lightweight Upright Vacuum Is an awesome product for an amazing price. It weighs right at 10lbs and is perfect for any home as it works on all floors. It has awesome suction and is not overly loud. It comes with 5 on-board tools including turbo brush, crevice tool, brush tool, upholstery tool and a quick release handle. The included turbo brush is great for picking up animal hair or cleaning stairs. It has a LED light on front for great visibility while cleaning. My favorite things about this vacuum are the 25ft cord and the XL dust cup. Both equal less time spent vacuuming because there are fewer trips to empty the bin and fewer times moving the plug!!!

I was amazed at how much we were able to pick up from the carpet when I tried the vacuum the first time. This great vac really deep cleans the carpet with its superior suction. It was very easy to put together and use straight out of the box. I only had trouble finding the place for the crevice tool. It ended up that the tool goes on the back near the bottom of the vac.

I absolutely love that the filters are washable which means no other purchase is necessary to use this vac. I definitely recommend this product to anyone. This is one instance where you really do not get what you paid for....you get a whole lot more!!!!!

Nice Vac!

Wow! THIS is one incredible machine with tremendous suction power; truly impressive! The vacuum comes with an Owner's Guide (English only), a whopping 25 foot two-prong power cord, and four snap on/off tools: a Dusting Brush (furniture, drapes, blinds, drawers and vents), Upholstery tool, Crevice tool (baseboards, detailing sofas and chairs, dryer vents) and a Turbo Brush (remove pet hairs from stairs, carpets and upholstery) to use with the pull-out handle. Convenient on-board storage slots are provided to store each included tool to prevent loss. Equally impressive are the headlights located at the intake. You can see from my photo taken in a dark room just how bright the headlights are and the range of the light! I never even realized how much headlights are needed vacuuming during the daylight; this is a a GREAT added feature! It really lights up the area, especially while vacuuming under dining tables, computer desks, etc. The suction of this vacuum is VERY powerful and that's why I call it a machine! It even picked up loose change without batting an eye! Dialing in the Height Adjustment Knob (5 selections from bare floors to high pile carpet), I vacuumed several rooms from hard floor to throw rugs to plush and Berber carpets with absolutely no issues. Next, I vacuumed using the hand-held unit. Before doing so it is important to set the Height Adjustment Knob to the highest setting: HIGH CARPET. I was able to reach an 8 foot ceiling with the handle and tool attachment, but it was a bit of a stretch. It would be nice to either include, or have available for sale, an extension adapter which would extend the reach of the hand-held unit while being able to use the variety of tools provided. (There is one Flexible Telescoping Crevice Tool available for purchase, but it does not have the ability for the User to attach the other tools to it.) The provided tools came in very handy for ceilings, baseboards and furniture. Although the hand-held device does not have an on/off switch on the wand itself, the on/off switch is easily located at the base of the machine by pressing the lever with foot. The unit has an impressive filtration system: a washable/reusable foam filter and filter screen. Another attractive feature is the bag-less quick-dump dust canister. The User simply pops off the canister from the vacuum by the pressing of a button, then unlatches at the bottom of the canister, releasing dust into a trash container. It does swing open quickly, thus dumping FAST, so be ready for a dust cloud! Would recommend adding a spring-operated feature to be able to slowly open the canister in a more controlled way to prevent an unnecessary dust cloud. Next time I will use caution and take more control over the swing-open door. As far as the noise level goes, it has one deep and one high pitched sound. It's not the quietest machine, but it's not the loudest either. I typically keep earplugs handy when working with any equipment that emits noise. This machine is powerful and well worth the purchase, so I can conquer a bit of noise with earplugs. DO NOTE the built-in safety feature: the unit will shut off if it becomes plugged or overheats - check the directions for how to safely clean parts. I highly recommend this versatile product!

SERIOUS machine ACTION! Tremendous suction power!

I decided to let my mom try out this Eureka Power Speed Turbo Spotlight Upright Vacuum. I knew if it passed with her it was a true winner! My mom is 88 and very active but any type of appliance that can make her life easier, she is all for it. Another thing, she has two cats a dog and two birds! She is constantly vacuuming the carpet and floors because of this. She has at this point in time an Oreck vacuum which is several years old. She has always thought it does a great job especially with the pet hair but when she started to use the Eureka she was absolutely shocked at the amount of pet hair this vacuum was able to pick up. She filled two canisters after going through the house and that was quite a shock! Several other things that she likes about this is the 25 foot long cord, the LED lights which makes it easy for her to see while she is vacuuming and in particular, how light weight it is. She also likes the fact that there are no bags to change, simply empty and wipe out the canister.

There is nothing about this vacuum that I can give a negative comment on. It lives up to everything it says on the packaging. Now I see my mom is vacuuming even more than before! She loves this product which delights me to no end. I don't mean to say anything bad about her previous vacuum cleaner as it is several years old But this Eureka is a true winner.

She would recommend this to anyone who is looking to purchase a new vacuum especially if you have pets. Don't delay and order this right away!
