works just as well as the much more expensive Neosporin. Better price than I can get at the dollar store. It's $1.25 for half an ounce there.

First Aid Triple Antibiotic Ointment

i love this triple ointment because it keeps your body areas from infection at a low cost. you can buy it in a single box or double.

The eqluate ointment protector

Ever since our girls stsrted getting little boo boos playing I had this triple antibiotic ointment. The most important use has been for their mosquito bite allergies known as skeeter syndrome. I apply liquid oral benedryl to the bites and then a hydrocortisone cream. I follow up with this ointment which is an prevents infections and heals wonderfully which helps prevents scaring in most cases. The sooner applies after injury the better. I have even used on a blemish to heal. keep applying to area throughout the day and evening for best results. So nurishing and healing. A staple in our home!

Why pay more for the same thing?Name Brand $8.48, Equate $2.84.  Equate, 400U bacitracin, 3.5mg neomycin base, 5000U Polymyxin B.  Name brand has same active ingredients. The results are also the same.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND EQUATE TRIPLE ANTIBIOTIC.

Why Pay More?!

I have not yet used this product.  I was simply replenishing my first-aid supply.

The equate brand is substantially less expensive than the name brand.  I use other equate brand OTC medicines and they work well.  So, I assume this ointment will be no different.

If name brand products happen to be on sale, I consider name brand products.  Otherwise, equate seems to be an acceptable go-to option.

CHEAP ALTERNATIVE TO NAME BRAND

I love the French vanilla creamer but the top was busted and the creamer was running out in the sack.

I always keep this on had at home and always take it with us on our travels. It's of course something you hope you don't need but absolutely needs to be part of a first aid kit.
