I am not sure but I can say it is as sticky as fly paper. Due to the stickiness I would say if it does not stain it will definetly pull off the finish

I strongly suggest that you purchase a small pad size, cut it to fit under a small potted plant or small area then test it on your vinyl floor for yourself. This always works for me.

I didn't have that problem at my other house

I used this in my bathroom with lineleoum (sp?) flooring and it doesnt stain at all and I have gotten it wet. It is a soft cushy beige foam material.

Not sure if it won't slip, the carpet may allow it to shift and slide... but it will happen with any pad

Absolutely. I bought the 9 X 12 size specifically for rug over rug installation. I had a "traveling rug" before I bought this one and after putting the pad down my rug hasn't moved one millimeter in over 2 weeks. This IS the one you want!!

It says on the product packaging that it is for any type of floor. I am using it on laminate.

We have used it for the last few weeks on a hardwood floor, and thus far it appears safe to use.

Have had it for a few weeks under my large rug. It does what it claims, is easy to cut with scissors, doesn't smell even when fresh out of the package. I've seen a few other pads and this is about as thick as others at this price.

I use the Organic Rug Saver Pad under 8 rugs of various sizes ranging from 3' by 5' to 8' by 10' on a hardwood floor. The rugs are placed in areas of low and high traffic and some have items, such as a couch or a coffee table, placed on top of the rug. The Organic Rug Saver Pad prevents the rugs from moving when they are walked on and when vacuumed. The pad also gives a bit of additional cushion to the rugs. It was easy to cut the rug pad to the size needed, as necessary. I would purchase again.

The word "organic" didn't mean anything to me when I purchased this product. It was only when I read the product labels that I realized it had no synthetic materials in it. Wow! So now I thought it should not last being all natural, but I was wrong. The warranty as explicitly stated is 20 years! The quality is top notch and it can be cut to any size to match your area rug. It is nice and slightly sticky thus preventing the rug from moving across the marble floor. It also added cushion to the already thick rug. Can't ask for anything more!

Absolutely the Best

For the price, this is a great product. I have a 5X7 rug so I purchased the 5X8 pad. Cutting it was easy.  I have it over porcelain tile and it does not skip at all. I had no problem setting up the pad and rug. I recommend this product.

Easy to use

Very inexpensive compared to all other sites I checked. Rugs stay in place on my laminate floor even when my dogs run back and forth.

Perfect

I have a lovely imported rug with no rubberized backing, which was slipping all over the tile floor in my foyer. I purchased the 4' x 6' rug pad, which turned out to be slightly smaller on all sides than my 3.5' x 5.5' rug. It is slightly tacky on both sides and holds the rug in place beautifully, while giving it a little extra cushy feeling underfoot.

this rug pad does the job

I just purchased 3 of these to put under my area rugs & what a difference it makes. Even if you buy a cheaper rug it helps. It makes the rug softer & doesn't allow it to slide around on the floor(plus it protects your wood floor.

Will never have an area rug without this under it

I've been a heavy online shopper for years and years already, but only lately I've been taking personal reviews into consideration in someway or another, I feel there will someone who will be unhappy for some insane unrelated reason no matter how good or bad something is. It just might not have worked in their situation, or simply didn't care for it, and everyone is definitely entitled to that in the least, I mean ultimately that's what these things are all about. So not to go sidetrack at all, pretty much this was the first product I solely bought on only the reviews, there's not much to find out anything else about it otherwise for the most part for what it is and does...

and this is the first product I intentionally ran right to the computer after I set it up with a huge smile on my face solving a daily annoyance for the longest time.

I have one of those Floatki rugs or however you say it, I think its Greek or something, in other words its like long shaggy shaggy wool with a potato sack like, just a rough, sort of loose though, backing. Its a 8 or so foot runner down the main hallway so I've on it all the time. If I don't remember to watch my step on it, thank god for my quick reflexes or I probably would have broke a leg or 2. And oh yeah, I've tried 3 different of these gripper things, ehhh, the last somewhat held, maybe with the help of some double sided tape, but when kitty came along nothing could hold this thing, flat, straight, it was in the bathroom once. It's on a pergo wood floor, not more slippery than any other or anything. I just laid this thing out. I could barely even move it at all even to adjust it. But could it possibly grip the backing of this thing that tape, u-glu, grips this and that, nothing near decent - I love the rug and it wasn't cheap either or it would've been in the closet a long time ago, but only was if older people came over so no one would break a hip or anything - this thing was like a magnet. I don't think I could grip the back as much as this thing, weirdly, just clung strong to it. Besides the minor inch or 2 or so on the sides which has 0 grip, I couldn't move the entire runner at all in the slightest. This thing is like stuck to the floor.

And I got excited over a rug gripper haha... trust me its just that I don't know how I haven't landed on the floor at all thus far. While I was waiting for this thing the rug was even pushed up against the side of the wall. Bluntly, without this grip pad its pretty much I know it would take out any guest I didn't warn to be careful, the backing that rug has on any floor is pretty much not usable, until my rug grip came along

I'm laughing that I'm so excited about a rug grip lol...

Don't buy any other. And not to mention it was cheap too. Cheaper than most or all or whatever too, what a bargain i hit the jackpot

I do also need to add that I hope this pad doesn't stick, stick, like that when you pull it off the floor whenever it leaves marks and pieces or whatever because that did happen for one of the others, on the wood floor obviously I'm talking about.

I visited several retail stores for a similar sized mat and was not content with the outrageous price for something that is completely hidden under your carpet. As a bonus it is advertised as eco friendly. Not sure exactly how but it's good to hear I guess.

This was an economical purchase and performs exactly as expected. I bought over-sized and cut to my rugs dimensions (6'x3'). The rug that goes over it was extremely slippery on the laminate flooring I have and this product has created a safe solution.

Gets the job done.

These worked great under my old rugs and even added a bit of cushioning. I will definitely be ordering more.

Very good rug pads

Adheres to rug okayl but not wood floor. When rug moves you can see pad. In 1 1/2 months have had to lift rug to fix 3 times. Pad is sticky so not a one person job. Ready to throw it out! Not in a high traffic area. Only pets are 2-5lb kittens!
