If you mean washed by throwing them in a washer, then no you cannot.
You can,however, use a slightly damp cloth with a tiny bit of soap to clean out the inside of the shoe, or clean the bottom.

I would not &quot;wash&quot; them. They are leather uppers with like a suede insole. They have some cushiony bounce as well. I have worn in rain with no ill effect though. LOVE these sandals.

Don&#39;t know if the manfacturer recommends washing or not but I frequently toss mine in the washing machine and then allow to air dry.

I have washed some of these, by hand, but some colors fade depending on what you spot clean them with.

I would say no. Certainly not machine washable at least. However I do think they could withstand a damp cloth cleaning. Usually they suggest using a light brushing on shoes like this.

I bought 2 pair of these last year in the honey color. I buy 2 at a time because they sell out quickly. I&#39;ve been buying these shoes for several years. I have washed them more than once in the washing machine on gentle cycle along with other items of clothing. Then I let them air dry. They come out great. So, if you&#39;re like me and spill liquids on them, washing takes the stain right out.

I have washed these and they have survived the washing machine.

The colors they have vary from year to year. Last year they had a different style then this one that was available in black. I too which they would do more colors, but since these are the only sandals I&#39;ve found I can stand on my feet all day and have back problems, I generally buy what ever they have available. If black is available next year I&#39;ll probably buy more then one pair.

Initially, the selection in the store appeared to be a bit lacking. I found that my particular Walmart re-stocks them every-so-often. (But they&#39;re unable to tell you when or if they&#39;ll be getting more.) As far as the colors go, I own these in tan, white, brown and black...but the styles do vary a bit from color to color. There&#39;s another style of Earth Spirit sandal they&#39;re currently selling in medium blue, also with leather accents, but no heel strap. They&#39;re very comfy as well.

As an aside, I purchased several pair last Spring/Summer in mossy green, rose, turquoise and brown, so it looks like there&#39;s hope for additional colors in the future. :)

I found success finding my size and style by checking back frequently at my local store, and grabbing them immediately when finding them online, as they sell out quickly.

besides checking your area walmart stores I have also seen them (or very similar) earth spirit on planetshoes .com - they are more expensive though. I myself would like to find the old version of the leather slides, very similar to these but without the back and the heel is lower. so comfortable, I am still wearing my old pair around the house - wish they would come back with them, mine are dark brown. of course you could cut the elastic backs off but the front straps need to be closer to the top (look better covering my toes :)

I have seen then also in navy and black and I do not know why Walmart does not carry them in dark colors. The light ones stain and do not come clean especially where the bottom of your feet stand.

I know what you mean. I used to have lt. green, denim blue and black. I don&#39;t know why Walmart has stopped carrying a full range of these shoes. I would buy them everytime I went into there, whether I needed them or not. They always keep and you never know when something might happen to a pair and it&#39;s nice to have a spare!!!!

No, but I got a pink pair in clearance several years ago. Love 'em. I too would buy them in navy, black, peach, baby blue, red..... Maybe someone will read this and get us some colors!

I see them online in white, just as the last person suggested ordering them online. I wish they had a similar style, an older style slide - without the elastic backs - but the front straps closer to the top of the sandal - covers more of my toes - very comfortable. I have them in dark brown but also had white slides at one time. I think it is worth the $5.00 shipping to order them online. also found them or similar at planet shoes .com but they are more expensive. some times on ebay but one pair I bought seem to be fake.

Probably limited supply. I bought dark brown last summer. Haven&#39;t found them this year. Check with PlanetShoes.com. They have more styles than the stores.

Does anyone know why they only come in tan and white? I cant find white anymore either

Love these!

I love these Earth Spirit sandals and have worn them for years. They are fantastic in every way: The sole is nice and cushiony with good arch support making them feel oh so good. The strap at the back is wonderful, no more sandals flying off your feet or slipping around, it keeps the sandal put without any pressure or blisters, the elastic strap is gentle yet just perfectly snug enough. These appear to be sold only at Walmart, I wish they would come out with more styles in the suede, all colors and bring back Wide. I'm wide an ordered a size up to compensate which, eh, it kind of works but wide would be preferable for a proper fit. Love them, keep them coming Walmart!

Best sandals ever!

I actually bought these sandals because I thought they looked like ones I had back in the 1970's as a teen. I wasn't really thinking of comfort as much as style. Since day one when I put them on I am in heaven. They are by far the most comfortable sandals I have ever worn. I have gotten so many compliments on how nice they look and they really do have that look from the 70's. 2 of the main features I do like so much are the strap in the back that is a soft elastic so while it is holding your foot while you walk its still very comfortable. The second thing is the arch. You don't feel it as being hard or high just comfortable because of the puffiness of the surface of the inside of the sandal. I am going to try and buy the other color (I think it is white) to go with a more dressier look, even though these are fine for that too but I love these with shorts and Jeans. You cant go wrong in buying these.

The most comfortable sandals I have ever owned

I absolutely love my Earth Spirit sandals. I have 7 pairs - 3 black, two honey, one white, one brown. I have trouble finding comfortable shoes. These are just heavenly! I can walk all day in them. I really wish you would bring back the black sandals! All of mine are several years old now and all that's available is honey and white. PLEASE bring back the black, Earth Spirit and Walmart!
