For $20 the bag is wonderful. The lunch bag is a little small but it still fits everything my daughter needs. It is light weight and her books fit perfectly. My daughter loves it!

The bookbag is very spacious and big. Only problem was that the zippers keep falling off of it and the lunchbox.

we LOVE this backpack, it's even better than our backpack we got last year or the year before at TJ Maxx. I'm so glad i surprised my daughter with this. it has lots of room, a pocket for folders, front zip up pocket, and a detachable lunch bag which we put snacks we dont want getting cold in there.

Purrr-fect back pack for a cat fan!

The backpack is your standard kids character backpack, but the material is a bit thinner than others we've had in the past. This was the only Spiderverse themed backpack I found and that's what my son really wanted. It has a padded inner pocket for a small laptop/tablet, outer zipped pocket on the front of the pack, and 2 side mesh pockets for water bottles and things like that. The lunchbox that comes with it attaches onto the front with Velcro straps to free up hands. This would be a really useful feature if there were clips instead of Velcro and if the lunchbox wasn't so small (8” diameter, ~2inches deep). I made a lunch for my child the first day and couldn't really fit much after the sandwich, and hardly anything that wasn't flat. After a semester of use, the front pocket has begun to wear through. Seems decent enough overall especially since we buy a new backpack every year and don't often bring lunch from home. However, if you're looking for some to last a couple years or pack a lunch frequently, you might want to keep looking.
