We just bought this and my son is a climber and very energetic. He's just about two. He plays with it, dumps the toys out and puts the "bins" on his head. He has tried to climb but has not succeeded. He loves it!

Yes the bins are cardboard covered with fabric. It seem to do a good job keeping it shape after being crushed.

I have a climber and he has been in the smallest and largest boxes. They have a flat piece that lays in the bottom to keep the shape and they come flat so they can go back that way as well.

This organizer wouldn't hold a climber and yes he could damage it. My grandson is also a climber, but he has never attempted to climb on this. :] The fabric bins have a fabric covered piece that fits into the bottom of each bin to keep its shape. The sides are made out of a heavier nylon fabric. It is a very nice colorful organizer.

The fabric bins keep their shape by means of the cardboard inside them. Yes, they can be damaged by toddlers playing with them. But IMO, that's not the real problem. The rest of the unit is quite fragile: wooden sides with metal poles holding some kind of tough fabric "shelves". It sways if you push on the side gently. So, no, it's not going to hold up if a toddler plays with it.

I guess the bins could get misshapen but they're not stretchy. They would probably be more likely to rip than get misshapen. They keep their shape based on having things in them that fill them out and a little bit because of the stiffness of the fabric. There is a piece in the bottom of each bin that can be removed that appears to be cardboard covered in fabric and it stabilizes the bottom but the sides and bottom of the bins themselves are pure fabric.

The bottom insert into each bin in cardboard, the rest is just mesh. The bins can handle a lot. I have a monkey too and this can withstand him. I wouldn't want him climbing on it for safety reasons, but if he got to it for a minute before I saw it, I wouldn't be worried it would be ruined.

If your child attempted to climb on this, it would collapse and break apart. Not sturdy at all.

No, it has metal bars and a piece of fabric that attaches to the bars. The bottom bins sit on the floor and the top 2 sit on the bars.

It's not an actual shelf, just a piece of canvas that holds the canvas bins in place. Hope that helps!

no it does not. it has a thin cloth that two metal bars slid through that hold the boxes.

It does, but it'a a fabric shelf. The fabric is strong and the way it's attached to the poles, it makes the fabric tight so it doesn't droop down.

I just got one of these a few weeks ago for my daughter. There is a piece of material that has loops to slide over the front rods and then loops around the back rods, forming a shelf for the top and middle shelves and a back to the middle shelf. It will keep the bins from falling through.

It’s very easy to assemble and it’s very cute. Feels sturdy also which is a plus for me because of my five kids, they seem to break a lot of things. It being sturdy will hopefully make it last a while! My kids LOVE the reusable stickers! It’s really nice that they don’t stick, they cling to the wooden sides. If they were sticky then they would just rip up and stick to the sides and make it not look as nice. They change the stickers around daily, they love them! The colors are nice, bins can hold quite a bit of toys. The photo is of right after I put it together. I really like that it has the white cloth thing to help it stay up. The other one from a different brand I have doesn’t have that so the bins fall down a lot and it’s so annoying. I really am happy with this product and price!

The Delta Children Deluxe Multi-Bin Toy Organizer appears quite well made and there is no fear of it falling over or tearing too soon. It was extremely easy to put together as the instructions were straight forward and assembly took less than 15 minutes. It is very light weight so was very easy to move around the room and position where I wanted. The stand itself consists of two wood end pieces and a heavy weight piece of fabric that wraps around four poles creating two fabric shelves, which are a lot sturdier than you would initially think, while the floor provides the base for the third shelf. There are nine fabric storage bins that are well constructed and lined with heavy duty cardboard that fit snugly together. The bins are three different sizes so my girls were able to put various toys in the bins, from Shopkins and make-up to a complete tea party set and their laptops with all the accompanying accessories. So far it's survived daily use from twin eight year olds without crumbling or tearing. I could easily envision children as young as two using this organizer successfully and I can foresee my girls getting a couple more years out of it until they get too tall. Overall this organizer is a good product and has aided significantly in organizing their shared space; it is much better than a standard toy box where the toys are all intermingled and hard to find. Thus far, I would definitely rate it five stars.

Pink Storage Bin

I was very pleased to see this new toy organizer/ storage bin set from Delta as I’m tired of only having the choice between hot pink or pastels. Who says girls always have to have pink things? The coloring is very beautiful; I love the gray frame with the blue and teal organizers and they match my room colors perfectly. The frame was very easy to put together, all that is needed additional for assembly is a screwdriver. The whole assembly did not take longer than 20 minutes. The frame is very sturdy even with the bins empty. We’ve had no issues with this thing swaying or tipping over. The individual bins are also very easy to assemble, and I’m pleased that they hold a significant amount of toys. Note that the bottom two bins sit directly on the ground instead of having their own shelf, which threw me off a little because on the advertisement it looked as if they rested on another bottom shelf. I love the height of the unit because it’s just the right size for my child to access her toys as well as learn to put them away herself, easily. The bins are all pretty sturdy and my daughter loves pulling them out and dumping all her toys all over her room. The bins are very easy for her to move, they are incredibly light weight, and although I’ve not had this long I think they will last quite a long time. I’m glad I won’t have to worry about plastic bins cracking with use. I would definitely recommend this organizer, for small children!
