These De Beukelaer Cookies are an excellent way to treat your guests or indulge yourself. The elegant, thin, rolled wafers are filled with a rich dark chocolate creme. Crunchy, flakey vanilla-flavored tube cookie, filled with chocolate cream. Light, not too sweet. Perfect with coffee or tea. If De Beukelaer cookie is an A+, a major brand pirouline-type cookie is a D-.

Fantastic cookie. Avoid imitations

I've loved these cookies in the past, and have ordered them at least three times. The wrapping around the slender chocolate core was firm and crunchy, the chocolate just enough for a light treat. Although some of the cookies always arrived broken (OK with me, I don't serve them to guests--I eat them all myself!), most arrived in one piece. This new formulation doubled--if not more--the amount of chocolate filling and reduced the wrapping to maybe two thin wafers. I like chocolate a lot, but these are now too much of a good thing. The main problem, however, is many of the boxes had no complete cookies, with, in some cases, at least half crumbs. If you want to try these cookies, I suggest you purchase them from a physical store..

Tasty, but much more fragile than my last orders

My Husband had requested that I find these for him. After searching many stores, to find the Deep Chocolate cookies, I went to the internet. Saw them on Wal-Mart's site and purchased them. They arrived in only three days, Just in time for his Halloween Birthday. What a nice "TREAT" he received.
I was very pleased with the whole transactions that took place ordering these and their timely arrival.
These cookies are delicious if you like dark chocolate.

Yummie French Cookie

I thought I would love these cookies because of the dark chocolate.  But,
all I taste is hazelnut which I do not like at all.  I could not taste milk or dark chocolate.
