I got my favorite soup.I love this stuff. I used to buy generic or other brands of dish soap, but this product lasts FOREVER and works twice as well as other products! It's worth paying for name brand on this! High recommend

Best dish Soap! Great price

Why did you have to have fix what wasn't broken? After 30-some years of using Dawn Original I am forced to find a new dish soap since you have "improved"  with the "new clean scent". 

Why do manufacturers insist on adding perfume to everything these days? 

While Dawn is available in a Free and Clear formula, reading the description, it pertains to free of dyes, not perfume, aka scent. 

Please bring back  Dawn Original to what it used to be!

I've been using this soap for 30 years. Just bought a new bottle and wow… Absolutely gross!  Whoever did this should be fired. If you change it back to the old scent, be sure to advertise it heavily otherwise I won't know because I'll be switching to another brand.

Horrible smell. Tell us when the original is back

Dawn has been updated with a “new clean scent” which we just accidentally purchased about a week ago. I will say this about the “new” scent. Have you ever walked into a department store, past counters where perfumes and colognes are being sold? It is an assault on your nose your sense of smell, your sinuses along with your taste buds. This was our experience with the new scent of Dawn dishwashing soap. All of your kitchenware, including glasses, silverware plates now have a strong perfume scent that directly interferes and degrades what you're eating or drinking, It is truly disgusting. Procter & Gamble research team, if you want to keep this “new clean scent” fine but, please also make the original available as well. You will definitely lose a long-term customer if this new clean sent is the only offering you will have.

New Clean Scent is Horrible

I have used dawn dish soap for decades. In the kitchen, bath and tough laundry stains. The "New fresh scent" is hideous. I didn't even notice the sticker on the bottle stating new scent. Filled my sink, squeezed some dawn in and yuck. I can't even describe the smell beyond "chemical-y"? Whatever it is, it's awful. My dishrag reeks, my sink smells bad.  Guess I'll be looking for a new brand. Not sure if this was a cost saving measure but it wasn't worth it.

Awful new scent

I have used Dawn original for my entire life. It was the only dish soap I could use without getting an asthma attack. I just used my new bottle and didn't see the “New Clean Scent” label. It is horrible. I immediately had to take my inhaler and my daughter with sensitive skin is getting a rash just from being in the same room! I hate the new scent! Please change it back!

Horrible new scent causes asthma attack!

I bought 5.8 fl. oz shrinkflation bottle, and it smells terrible. It made me lose my breath. What did you change? It would appear that you made the bottle smaller but still left the same amount of ingredients that was in the non-shrinkflation bottle. There should a warning label on the bottle that the product has changed.

What Happened?

Why fix what isn't broken? The new bottle we bought has the new horrible, hard to get the stink off your hands scent. My Wife has chronic cough syndrome and when putting the new scent in the sponge she went into an coughing spell that was so bad she had to go outside and we had to air out the house so she could come back in. I washed the dishes and couldn't get the smell off of my hands no matter what I did. 

I've read other reviews and they all seem to say that they can't stand the smell. 

Think about this… Does anyone want to smell the chemical smell in their plates when they labored over the stove to make a nice meal. You want the fragrance of the food, not the dish soap. 

I'll have to go to another brand now. Too bad!!!

Horrible New Scent

Why change a good thing?!? If you had not changed the scent in 10 years and no one had complained, leave it alone.

I am not sure I will continue using my favorite dish soap as the “new scent” is nauseating! 

I'm actually someone that buys with her nose: dish detergent, laundry products, garbage bags and shampoo.

This is beyond disappointing that I may have to change to an inferior product!

New Scent is Nauseating

I can get severe migraines from scents and the new scent for the Dawn Original is MIGRAINE-INDUCING! It's awful. I had used it for many things, but I will not be able to anymore. I'm so disappointed because it was my go-to when I couldn't do other scented items.
