I have used this product on stainless steel appliances with complete success. It's the greatest, and no, I don't work for the company.

I've found one pump goes a long way, stays sudsy and cleans 3 to 4 items thoroughly. It may be that I need to cut down on how much I use because it's so effective. So, for a sink full of dishes, I guess I would say 3 or 4 pumps if not less. It's miraculous.

FYI Dawn Dishwashing Liquid does wonders for pipes, septic tanks and oily ducks, if you have them

When you learn how to use it 1(one). You do not use this product in the traditional method, wet your dishes, apply one pump to your scrubber, I use a sponge with the scrubbing material on one side, wet the sponge and start to wash, do this over your wet dishes, after you wash most of your dishes or when you see the foam drying rinse what's washed and continue on.

i have a dishwasher so i use it each time for individual pans, etc to clean. I would think it would not take more than 2 squirts but truly, i dunno.
i also mix it in a large spray bottle with white vinegar and water for cleaning dirty stuff and around kitchen...use equal proportions.

You would need to water it down to use in a pump bottle. Just Google that to find the ratio of water to regular dawn.

From my experience, you can not use regular dawn in the pump bottle.

I doubt it -- I use foaming soaps like Dawn, Dial, Tone, etc. in my kitchen and bathrooms and the liquid is not as thick as regular Dawn or regular non-foaming pump soaps. My guess is it would clog the pump but it probably wouldn&#39;t hurt to try it since you should be able to wash it out.

NO. The Dawn Direct Foam is specially formulated to dispense a foamy consistency puff of detergent in just the right for a single use. Regular Dawn wouldn&#39;t foam up properly and would probably be too thick for the pump bottle.

I have never tried regular dawn but it would have to have more water since the pump creates a foam.

Yes but it is diluted and result will be far from the same, The Platinum is concentrated and dilution balanced by manufacturer to be just right once it hits water.  You&#39;ll need to pump and pump and get frustrated by poor cleaning result by not using correct mix.
