Heavens, no. Think of it as a cotton knit shirt, about twice as warm as a classic men's undershirt, and more substantial. More like heavy cotton jersey. I like to use this jacket for times when the temps are in the 50s-70s, depending on the wind conditions. It's good for cool mornings and evenings in spring and fall.

Fleece may be a little warmer but I live in Georgia and it is perfect for my climate.

Hello. I'm not sure where they got terry...it's more of a thicker cotton.

No it is not as warm as fleece= but perfect for layering.

Both are made well. I would go up a size or two with the jacket. The pants run narrow in the thigh and the the stomach of the pants is tight with thick elastic...possible stomach control? Possibly go up a size with them also depending on where you carry your weight.

Great jacket!

I love Danskin products and this one was another winner. Great quality especially for the price and the cors were great, too. Order a size or 2 bigger as they run small- but fit well.

I enjoy the tailoring on the shoulders of this jacket: so many plus-size garments don't drape very well. This jacket is soft and comfortable, a light layer for when the mornings and evenings are cool.

The fabric stands up to washings quite well, and the zipper is good quality. This is my second purchase of one of these.

Very comfortable

Bought it in the black color and it is a true black. The fabric and fit on this jacket is incredible. I ordered actually 2 sizes up because I really wanted this jacket to hang LOOSE and to be able to wear a real sweater underneath it and still be able to zip it up properly. I wear a size 1X, so initially I ordered a 2X but when it came I realized that it still felt tight to the body and chest area. So back the 2X went and I re-ordered the 3X. Yes it fits very loosely, but that is exactly what I wanted. Have worn this jacket when in the car and it feels very comfortable. Just remember to unzip it so that the high collar does not interfere with your chin while sitting. Also, the quality of the fabric is fantastic! Danskin has been around a long time and their clothes has such wearability to them. Yes, this jacket is on the thinner side, so if you were thinking that this jacket resembles the more expensive zip up jackets that are out there, then you will be disappointed. But for a thinner fabric style jacket, it hangs beautifully on a woman. Love the length of the longer sleeves. And the zipper is of a high quality. With the cooler weather now, I will be wearing this jacket often. Whether alone or underneath my other winter coats.
