probably not...I wouldn't use it for that. I think it's more for making little figurines and things like kids hand/foot prints.

Hi AlyAlexandra, While you can use Crayola Air-Dry Clay to mold into plate, bowl and cup shapes, we do not recommend they be used to hold food. Products designed for this purpose require approval by the Food and Drug Administration. This product has not been tested in a dishwasher so we cannot guarantee the clay will hold up.

I did not use paint but I made some designs using a permanent marker and it stayed in well.

Would this be the clay to make like plates/bowels/cups? if so can it be machine washable (dishwasher)

Great price for great clay

My son had a project to do and we used the clay to build different things for the house like pots, plates and so on.  Alsoused it to coat the outside of the house he build. You can add water to it to make it more pliable.

Easy and versatile

I like this clay for air dry clay projects i see on tiktok. Good deal if bought online because in-store price with tax is 6$ One tub lasts a while and you can make quite a few items with this. I made about 14 items, some big some small. Work the clay for about 3 minutes to make it softer. Make sure to use a bit of water to help smooth any cracks before it dries.

Good Craft Clay For Beginners

This clay took about 4 days to fully dry, even in our very dry climate. It became very brittle and small details snapped off if touched. I expected it to be a little easier to use. It was easy enough to clean up and it's nice that it's air dry for using with my kids.

Pretty good

I used this clay to help keep small items from falling over for a photography project. The clay dries out quickly and it made a big mess as I moved pieces around from day to day. It served its purpose, but I'll probably find something else that doesn't dry out as fast to use next time.

ive been on a pottery kick latley and tried this brand and fiund it very workable. I've made all the pieces in the pictures with this clay, watercolor and spray varnish. I loved them.
