I need at least four packs, because I use one on each dread, and I have a lot of dreads. but if your hair is not locked, you may need less.

If you want waves like Taylor swift 1 but if you want curs 2 and more if your hair is way below the shoulders. I recommend curlers over these rods if you are looking for a nice spiral.

2-4 packs depending on the amount of hair you have. I used 3 packs and my hair is 24" long.

I could not personally use them, but anyone who can, it does say to place smaller sections on each so, I would say you could use 2 packages easily to cover your whole head. There are 18 in each package.

It depends how you want your curls to be it all depends on your style even one pack can do the job but when I ordered I bought 4 packs because they are well worth it and you get diffident results by how many you use on your hair

My hair is shoulder length and it takes two packs.

Maybe. My hair is to my lower back. it curls ok. Very loose curls, But it's a lot of hair on one rod. Maybe with 2 sets. I wear them over night (a bit painful). I heat each curler with my blow-dryer once I have rolled all my hair. Then the curls are totally set by morning. I like the loose curls. But I imagine it might be even harder with hair that long. My husband has to help me with mine. I hope this helps.

You would need more than one pack, but I think if you were to just use these in smaller sections it would work just fine. Also, there are longer rollers which you can find on Amazon.

I don't think these will work well with long hair, but you can buy the larger ones at any hair store, also these work better with wet hair.

They would only wave it slightly not curl. For nice curls try foam rollers that hold in place with plastic squares.

Since I had Chemotherapy in 2011 and I decided to go natural, these spiral curlers made me have beautiful curls as if I went to a professional. I love the ease of using them and they were a great bargain.

Beautiful Curls

Because of how time consuming it is to use hot tools as well as how damaging it is to the hair and the fact that I am trying to get my hair to be as healthy as possible so that it grows long and beautiful, I started searching for heatless ways to curl my hair. I stumbled across the concept of using rods such as these and instantly had to have them after seeing the beautiful curls they gave. I ordered a few different diameters on Amazon but also went out to Walmart the same day to see if they had them in store. I tried them that same night after my hair had dried about 2/3 of the way (though I did have to re-dampen some sections of my hair), using the smaller rods up top and the larger ones on the bottom. Once they were all in, I used a little bit of hairspray and slept with them in. My hair was so insanely curly the next morning, so I combed through the curls with my fingers and a small amount of argan oil and it looked fantastic! These come in so many different diameters, so if ringlet curls aren't for you, you can also get looser curls or waves. Also, they lasted my entire eight hour shift at work (where I'm always moving) and longer, even with me constantly touching my hair. I have yet to try all the different sizes I now own, ranging from 3/8" to 1" but I'm sure they will all work wonders. I love how quick this is to do as well, even with my thick hair and how I can do it at night and just simply take the rollers out in the morning and fix it up how I want and be done. I would highly recommend these rollers and spiral rollers/flexi rods in general. They give better results, in my opinion, than hot tools and are so much better for your hair!

Perfect and easy curls with no heat!

I love these simple spiral curlers. You can use them with a dryer or not. You will have a head full of bouncy curls. The only set back is, it is a little difficult to sleep in them.

Curly

It's very easy to use these curlers. It took me 3 hours to do my hair but I have a lot of hair and with practice I should get quicker. Just one night of sleeping with the curlers and some mousse and I had beautiful Shirley Temple curls for 3 days. The curls can be separated for a fuller, less "Shirley Temple-like" look.

Much easier to use than the traditional rollers

This is great but they should put a instruction guide with details on how to use. Had to find out by looking it up on utube. For my daughters thin hair it only took one package. These are much cheaper online than in the store. Curls last all day and loose spirals the next day. They set after 3 hours with damp hair and I blow dried it on cool air no heat to make sure they all dried.

Make good spirals

These are really great curlers, they work great with dreads. the curls will not come out until you wash them out I love my beauiful curls.

this product works good even that I have not used them on my hair yet but I used them on my granddaughter hair and my daughter used them as well they were good results and worked pretty good we just need more practice at using them but they are still nice on our natural hair and we too much don't like using hot curlers as much me and my daughter and I wanted to try something new to do my hair in varies ways overall I liked them very much

flexirods

These rollers are great to give you that spiral look for a day, but be careful that you do not use on short hair. Hair needs to be at least shoulder length to get them to roll up good. Daughter also said they are not very comfortable to sleep in.

Good rollers

So basically I ordered this package b/c you are supposed to receive the blue and pink rods (small and medium) but they sent me green and pink(medium and large) rods. I tried them but they really hurt my head and I got better results from dollar tree foam plastic combo things. I did a spiral on both types btw not curling up for waves. I took them back. Dollar tree cost me 4$ and less painful and better spirals all day long. This product kept falling out of my hair. I would not recommend this at all. Sorry to give a bad review :(
