...privacy envelopes. My mistake but these will do. The paper weight is better than most and they are slightly bigger than other generic brands.

I Actually Wanted...

I bought these so people could write out their addresses prior to me sending out my thank yous. It was nice to just pull the tab off and have it stick.

What can be said about envelopes? These are great, and with the grip-seal, they're even better. I thought the price was a bit higher than I might have gotten elsewhere, but I added to an order I was already placing and didn't have to leave the house.

Good envelopes

These envelopes were exactly what I wanted.

WM used to cary a different brand. This one is a step backwards: the envelopes are not transparent (enough) and the design of the flap is annoying, it always catches the sheet when you try to slide it in. Average quality.

Not as good as they had before

I never buy unlined envelopes so I was disappointed these are see through. The envelope itself is good quality and the seal works great but if I mail a check I'll have to wrap it in a sheet of stationary so nobody can see it from the outside because it is thin paper and unlined.

Not lined

I am very disappointed in this product. The description says the envelopes have security tinting, but there is none. To test this claim, I wrote a few words on a piece of paper with a ball-point pen, put it in the envelope, and it was too readable without holding it up to light. When I held it up to light, it was completely readable. Now I must decide whether to go through the inconvenience of returning them and ordering real "security envelopes". I thought the price ($4.10 for 50 envelopes) was a little high, but I thought my privacy was worth something -- so purchased them. Well, these envelopes are not worth 25-cents to me. I like that they are "press and seal", but that's the only good thing I can say... and I'm assuming they actually stick (seal). ;)

No "security tinting" -- these are see-thru!

There isn't any security tinting on the inside of the envelopes. No value to me as is and back to the store they go.
