If you take it out of the carry case that comes with it, it would be EZ to roll up to almost nothing...say 8inches wide by 2 -2.5 feet tall. The tent poles are in connected sections about 3 feet each.

it is pretty large not a hiking tent propably around 1 foot and a half give or take

23 inches x 5.5 inches x 5.5inches is the bag. It's not too tight at the corners. About 85% full after removing, setting up tent, then repacking (like after a campout) and bundling it down again.

The bag is 24" x 5.5" x 5.5". This is not a light weight backpacking tent. More suited to car camping. Weighs several pounds.

The package the tent comes in is 5x6 inches by 23". I was able to fold it back into a 21" long bundle, but not back in to the original package.

I use this tent on short backpacking and car camping.  Any more than 3 mi too heavy. Won't fit inside my 70l backpack, must carry on top.

This tent is super simple to set-up. I had it up by myself in less than 15 minutes the first set-up. The second set-up was done by my husband and I. It took us less than 10 minutes.

As far as intruders goes, it depends on what type of intruders you are referring to. Keep it zipped and it will keep all bugs and small rodents out. If you sleep with a piece of raw meat, a bear or mountain lion can easily rip through. As far as keeping people out, the tent has no locking mechanism so if left unattended it can easily be entered.

Very EZ to Set up. you unfold the tent and lay it on the ground cover( i use a blue plastic tarp larger than the tent from Home Depot or Lowes) then click the connected carbon fiber pole frame together and insert the 2 connected carbon fiber poles into the loops at the edge of the tent seams. Next you insert the carbon fiber poles to the 4 metal eyelets at the 4 corners of the tent and the tent will pop into shape..all that is left is to hammer ( take a hammer) to secure the tent at the pole 4 corners from the wind ( if any).Takes total time about 5-8 min. As to how secure is it to intruders, no nylon tent is secure to intruders, you need a camp trailer/ motor homeor hotel room if you are worried about this!

Hard to setup.very light but places to run support poles thru are not easy to use.It will be ok.

This tent is very intuitive to setup. Unpack the tent, straighten out poles, slide into sleeves, attach to corners, and then attach clips. Done. The issue I have is with the sleeves, which take some time to push through no matter how experienced, and a source of leakage and maintenance with sealer if you use the tent a lot. If they used 100% exterior clips, the setup time (and tear down) would be twice as fast, and minimize seam stretching along long tent sections that pole sleeves always exhibit after prolonged use. It might not mean much for most folks who mozy and set this up in 5 minutes and never go camping with possbility of rain. But in a downpour while you and your gear are getting wet, every second is important. Walmart has a cheaper 1 - 2 person Ozark Trail tent. Once you figure how to set that one up single person, it's actually possible deploy the tent and rainfly together, get gear into the tent and then setup the tent under the rainfly using just the clips without going back out and sliding poles into sleeves in the rain while rainfly is off. That keeps your stuff drier inside.

As for security against intruders, are you serious? Tents are primary shelters only from the elements and insects. Serious critters are not deterred by tents and will chew, gnaw, claw their way in to go after stuff they smell inside. And forget about any wild animals over 20 lbs who smell tasty stuff. Keep your food and garbage items in a bear bag or bear box a significant distance (e.g. 50+ yds away) from your tent if you have big critters or bears. No tent is ever truly secure from intruders.

Tents are not designed for security, but this tent provides mesh covering on the top and small zippered mesh windows.

I had a queen size air mattress and a port a potty in the tent and still had room for clothes and other camping stuff.

Easily fits a single air mattress with plenty of gear room. A double should fit, just not a lot of room for bags. Whichever one you use put the air mattress in the tent FIRST before you inflate. We found out the hard way years ago that tent doors are not very big!

I used a folding foam pad about 3-4 inches thick, measuring 29"x73" and still had a few feet of space for storage of items. The tent is 48" high at the center and the sides slope in and reduce available space around
the edges, so I wouldn't use anything much larger than the dimensions given above if you want some floor space left.

What a great deal ! We weren't camping on island for night and was huge thunderstorm with 50 miles wind and this little tent was strong and no blow away, I recommend definitely buy that one , perfect and watherproof

Best deal ever

Coleman products are always a good value for the price. Have been a Coleman customer/user for years. This tent sold at a good price. It was easy to set up. During our recent torrential rains, the inside stayed remarkable dry.

Great tent for all levels of camping

I am not a fan of camping or familiar with tents. I purchased this tent as a play tent for my Granddaughter. However, a family member fond of camping states it's a very nice tent. It was extremely easy to set up, but don't forget to get the tent stakes also.  My Granddaughter loves it.

Coleman Sundome 2-person dome tent.

I bought this little Coleman tent for my 15 yr old son. Coleman calls it a 2 person tent, but it is more suited to one person. He had plenty of room for a single air mattress and his gear. First night out we got caught in a torential downpour with thunder and lightning. He stayed reasonably dry, there was a bit of water under the air mattress, even with a tarp under the tent (really recommended, even if it doesn't rain the tarp will keep the tent clean) Sides of the tent and rainfly were very water resistant. Went together easily (instructions sewn into the bag :) and actually fit easily BACK into the bag when we broke camp. Overall a great little tent for the price.

Excellent tent for the price

I have used these long back for camping  in state parks and it does hold good. I bought the new ones for my children to use in backyard and sleeping outside on short cabin based trips, while weather holds good, so that they get used. The quality is good but wont recommend using in really bad weather. Not strong enough.

Good Tent for Backyard and short camping trips

bought for my son who is going on a week long wilderness camp this summer. tried it out prior over the july 4th weekend. we set it up dry on thur afternoon, it thunderstormed like crazy thur night and continuously rained hard until sat morning. tent remained dry the entire time but we did place a tarp underneath when set up. Worked Great!

Only negative I would say is space is small. you could sleep two inside with no gear but it is really better for one person with gear.

Set up is easy, just 2 poles for tent plus 1 for rain fly and my 12 year old can do it himself. Tent easily goes back into carrying bag for storage.

kept dry through thunderstorm

This was my very first tent and camping experience, and the tent was used for a five day retreat in Southern California in mild weather. The tent is a good size for one person using a folding 4- inch thick sleeping pad, although given the choice again, I probably would have bought the 7x7 for a little more room, since I had a carry-on size suitcase and bags with me which did not leave much floor space, and as a tall person it was a challenge to stretch out to dress in the tent. Also the sides slope in and reduce some usable space around the edges. This tent does not provide outside space for storing items. The tent was comfortable and was high enough to hang a lantern from the top. One night was especially breezy and cold and I used a blanket over the open mesh top areas which are covered by the rainfly but still allow cold air to enter. Overall it did a great job for the purpose.

Great first tent

So far, so good. I'm sure what I've done was not what you all planned for this tent, but you might be interested. I wanted to go “boat camping” with my 16' fishing boat. I've modified your tent to fit over the boat's main cockpit area.  I cut away the floor and inverted the flaps of the floor to snap to the boat's side decks. I extended the rain fly by about 30” to extend over the boat's windshield to divert any rain water foreword. I'll sleep on the floor of the boat on an air mattress. It won't be mosquito proof, but will hopefully keep the rain off, especially at night. I can send you a photo but I don't see a way to do it with this review.
