Yes they are. The dials are a little "springy" (they want to go a little higher on their own) on the lower settings but if you just go slow you can turn both sides down close to where you want them.

The Flame levels are adjustable on the Burner and the Grill. Turning the knob(s) will move the Flame to various sizes, which will decrease or increase your actual 'heat' level.

Yes you are able to controls heat on the stove or grill by lowing the flame just like your gas stove at home. Very easy to turn on and start cooking.

No. It takes the small Coleman type propane tanks or you can buy a hose adapter for $20 at Walmart to connect the usual barbecue 20 pound propane tank to it and save money over the long run.

No, you have to purchase them separately but are not too expensive. We went camping over the weekend and only used i small tank. Which I purchased 2 tanks for under $6.

Does this grill come with a filled propane tank?

You would need an adapter. A lot of stores have hoses with a POL connector for a standard 20 or 30 pound tank on one end, and the other end has a connector that looks like the top of a disposable propane bottle.
Maybe try an RV store or outdoor store.

Yes you can use a bulk tank. Just purchase an adapter at Wal-Mart

Yes, but you need to buy a Coleman adapter hose for $20 from Walmart to use it.

You can use the small propane cylinders, or any basic propane tank; but you will need to purchase an additional propane extension hose, and possibly an adapter, depending on how you set it up. I think (??) YouTube has some videos on what you will need, and how to connect it all up.

Most of my camping equipment is up north including my cooking stove. I have an older Coleman that I bought 30 some years ago so after camping two weeks ago where I could not get my coffee to boil because the wind was so bad I purchased this and I tried it out and it works perfect. I love Coleman. They are a brand that I will always purchase especially for camping. Can't wait to use it in the keys this weekend!  It is compact folds down with a locking handle which is perfect so you know it's not gonna flop open. It is very durable, made metal. I know this will stand the test of time like all my other Coleman brands. ￼ I can both cook with the grill or the stove top or both portions at the same time I can hook up to a 1 pound propane tank or I can hook up to a 20 pound propane tank. There are so many ways I can use this. Very pleased with my purchase!  I love the outdoors and camping but I get grumpy without my coffee.

Maybe I got lucky after reading some of the reviews, but this stove works like a charm. It starts on the first click, it's very easy to grill on, the non-stick grill is a snap to clean, and after using it every day on an eight day sheep hunt my family was getting tired of hearing me say how much I like this grill. It fits nicely in my pop-up camper and replaces an older model.

We used this grill while on a 4 day tenting trip. Was simple to use, easy to clean, and cooked evenly. The only drawback would be how the propane is connected. The 'arm' that connects the tank to the grill doesn't seem to be sturdy. Not sure how much use before we will need to replace this part. Otherwise this is a very nice grill for the price.

perfect for small family & simple cooking

Very easy to use. Only con is that the holes that hold up the back could have a bit tighter fit. Thats why I gave it four stars. Other than that this will be perfect for camping and going to the lake.

Great for camping

Have not used yet but looking forward to it. Like the grill aspect but comes at a price as no second burner for pot/pan. Coleman says not to use the grill grate provided for grilling other than for grilling - no pots/pans. I suspect this is due to weight of grill grid and weight of pan/pot content (example: large pot w/water). I bought a circular weber heavy duty grill grid and cut it so that is interchangeable with grill grid that came with unit. This should allow for using with a pot/pan when needed. This new grate also allows for better flame access to pot/pan since grill grate that comes with unit has a covering to protect flame against grease drippings when used for grilling. With this second grill/grate, I now have capability to grill or use 2 burners at once for pots/pans. (note: Grill burner tube is long and may result is wasted propane as some part of flame will extend over pan/pot when cooking on grill area.

Coleman Consumer Care 

We have almost all Coleman products and have been camping for almost 40 years now. I have never been more disappointed in my life. We were on a 5 day camping trip with my son, his wife and 2 grand daughters first meal hamburger and hot dogs, the grill actually burnt up. We had a protable coleman grill for 20 years now and it finally dies we bought this one and the first night it caught on fire.....now we had to go to store buy carcoal and cook over campfire ring, kind of hard on Grandpa's back.....so disappointed in the quality of this product.
