It comes with a wall plug in that you attach and it charges the jump starter. Actually really easy to use and charging takes just minutes

any 110V outlet for charging. And indicator light tells you the status of the charge.

Comes with a standard outlet plug with small DC plug on other end of cord, which goes into Cobra unit.

You can use the a/c household cord that came with it.

It just plugs into your House AC. Full instructions come with the unit.

The cables are about 3 feet long, plenty of room to attach and sit the charger in a safe place while you start

Too short, approximately 24 inches long. I hope the producer enhances the equipmet with a longer cord, at least three feet long.

Very short must sit on or near the engine block in order to use, but never ever seat on the battery itself.

They're about a foot and a half, which is plenty for a jump start, as the unit is very portable and you would take it right to the dead battery.

300 cranking amps only. That's on the low side for typical jumpstarters. See my review for more details.

These terms confuse me, I think because so much depends on whether you use direct DC power or inverter AC power, surge or steady load. According to the manual, the unit can deliver a 500 amp peak power at 12 VDC for a jump start, and the 110 VAC output can power a 100 Watt load for 5 minutes (1200 W), with a max. starting surge of 400 Watts (which calculates to 3.63 A). Does that help?

This Power booster has everything you could want at a very reasonable price.
Cobra quality has always impressed...this product certainly follows that path..
I've already tried to jump start my car....started up like I had a new battery....The AC adapter ran a small fan and or TV....USB port will come in handy...DC adapter and powerful air compressor are going to be very useful...No more paying for air or asking an attendant to turn the air on at a gas station...
It has all the built in safety features also...Looks like Cobra really hit a home run with this product...
I recommend this product to anyone without any hesitation at all...

Peace of mind for emergencies

I TRIED THIS ON MY LIGHT TRUCK TIRES AND IT DIDN'T FIT. IT WORKED FINE ON CAR TIRES AND ALL THE FUNCTIONS WORKED GOOD.

NOT FOR HEAVY DUTY TIRES,

This jumpstarter does all I need it to do and specifically, the air compressor works well. The hose is nice and long, and the switch is recessed so it doesn't turn on accidentally. I haven't tried the jump starter yet and hopefully I will never need to use it.

i know the name Cobra has a good reputation and that influenced my decision to buy the product and wasn't disappointed.

Everything I expected.

I've had to use this machine twice so far, and it far exceded my expectations. We lost power and I was able to run my CPAP machine AND the humidifier for 3 hours and (CPAP 12 volts & humidifier 110 volts) with power left to spare. I also was able to run my internet mobile hotspot for an hour off the USB outlet. After all this, there was still half a charge on the machine. If I never use it again, this session alone was worth the cost.

Super All-In-Onene

In theory, this product is ideal for quick jump starts, inflating tires, etc but if you have a battery that sits low in the engine compartment, the lead lines for the jumper cables are too short to reach the battery.
In my second attempt to use this device to inflate tires, the pressure meter stopped working.
So my third attempt with the device was successful - I returned it to Walmart for a full refund.

Charged it up. Left it plugged in for 2 weeks. Tried it on 2 cars with dead batteries. Didn't work on either. Borrowed one (another brand) and both cars started......so my conclusion is that the Cobra doesn't work. A shame because it's a convient size (why I bought it)

Didn't work

The lock that holds the air hose on the tire stem, broke the first time I used it. It's made of plastic.

I purchased the cobra power-pak because i know cobra has always been a good product, when i drove truck cross country for 41 yrs. thats all i used was cobra cb's and they worked well so i thought i would try the cobra power-pak as so as i took it out of the box i read all instructions as i do with anything i buy electronic, i plugged it in for the 23 hrs. suggested for max. power went to turn on compressor to blow up a few balloons for my grand-daughters birthday and it stopped working gave it the 10 secs. suggested to cool but it wasn't even warm, but did that anyway never worked again. Tried using the unit to jump-start my low battery om my riding mower went dead with-in minutes, charged it for another 23 hrs. barely worked ( very diappointed} so i need to find out best way to box it back up and where to ship it a.s.a.p hopefully it was just a bad unit and will be replaced but i don't have all summer to wait for it( hopefully i won't) like i said cobra has always been good to me so let's see what happens-Eddie
