This plunger is very easy to use and works very, very well.  It's light-weight and easy to tuck back into the hideaway base.   I am going to buy a 2nd one to replace an older wood-handled one in the other bathroom.  Very glad I bought it.

Clorox Hideaway Toilet Plunger = A+

Wish I'd gotten one like this years ago. I mean let's face it, no one likes a plunger let alone looking at it when you go to the bathroom. They are disgusting after the first use. Then there's the ring it leaves on the floor even if you attempt to clean them. (gag) This little contraption that the plunger is in is awesome.  It is closed and completely covers the gross part of the plunger. When you need it, you just simply lift and it opens and comes out. The container stays open until you set the plunger back inside and it automatically closes. No more ugly site or floor ring to scrub during bathroom cleaning. It's all hidden away.

Much more sanitary than the plunger on the floor

Writing reviews on a plunger is not easy to do as they serve a sole singular purpose.  As for aesthetics and functionality, this plunger has both.  When not in use it looks tidy and keeps what odors there may be lurking on the plunger within the enclosed container.  When utilized, the plunger doors open as the plunger is lifted out and close when the plunger is placed back in the container.  As for functionality of the plunger, it works just fine.  It is by far better than a dollar store plunger or an assemble yourself plunger from the local hardware store.  For a plunger easy on the eyes that works, I recommend it.

Good Aesthetics and Functionality

Went to take the plastic off the bottom of the plunger as I couldnt pull it out and when I did, one of the white pieces broke off and I cannot get it to go back in place.

Broke upon opening

this plunger is too small to fit over the drain of my high efficiency toilet. there is no suction because it won't seal over the hole. it's not very flexible. when you push it down, it gets stuck and won't bend back to normal without tapping it on the rim of the toilet and subsequently getting toilet water splashed all over you. but the most offensive part is the caddy. when you pick up the plunger, only one side opens and the other sticks shut, so you have to jiggle really hard to get the plunger out. then when you go to put the plunger back in, there are 2 little tabs at the bottom that prevent it from closing. the only way to get it to close again is to bend down and use your hands to manually snap the tabs down so it will close. defeats the "no touch" purpose and honestly I'd rather just not have a caddy at all. i went to the hardware store to buy their cheapest plunger and it was about 2" larger in diameter and that was enough to work for my toilet. I'll buy a decorative trash bin to use as a caddy and guarantee I'll have a much better experience the next time I'm already mad at my kid for using so much toilet paper.

The hideaway feature doesn't work when part of the hideaway is missing! Ive waited for a call that still has not happened. In the years Ive used Walmart.com this is the first time something was not as pictured or implied. Which I will still use the Walmart.com but I'm quite disappointed in the fact that nobody from Walmart has bothered to make it right.

All parts were not included in the box.  Rubber plunger was missing.

No good

Have had this for a few months and use often due to crappy septic system, or I should say TRY to. It pumps once, then gets stuck in pumped position, i guess cause the plastic is cheap and hard. Bought cause i like the storage container. Will be switching out the plunger itself for a good one!

One pump is all you get!

I am 63-year-old I would have to say this is the serious commode playing her that I have ever purchased and tried to use it is totally useless I waste of your money so if it will help anybody from wasting their money that's why I'm writing this review do not purchase the Clorox commode plunger
