I bought these right before the COVID-19 pandemic.

When I read the container carefully I noticed it makes ZERO claims as to sanitizing anything. The words it uses are dirt, grease, and soil. It doesn't mention bacteria or viruses. The ingredient list doesn't scream santization either. The mostly likely ingredient would be the ethanol as an alcohol, but if it's not in high enough concentration then it won't sanitize either. 

Other lines of cleaners that focus on Earth-friendliness use the active ingredient thymol from thyme as the sanitizing agent. I would NOT depend on these Clorox wipes to sanitize after raw meats or eggs on a surface (bacterial salmonella). For that, you'll need something labeled and therefore legally required to be, a "disinfectant." God bless America for laws about false advertising!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Smells so much better than regular Clorox wipes!!! Scent is much lighter and less chemical smelling. I would probably still use regular Clorox wipes on the grossier more hazardous messes, but this is great for cleaning the counter tops in the bathroom and kitchen island. I feel like this is a safer option for pets, and really really like that it is compostable! It's everything you're used to in a Clorox wipe but less harmful to the environment.

Household Must!

It makes me feel a little better about using a single use product when convenience is important. I feel safe using these wipes around my toddler too. There is a very mild scent that doesn't linger, they're surprisingly streak free on mirrors, and have been safe on surfaces that require simple water, mild soap cleanings.

Nice cleaning product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love clorox products I think they do a really nice job in eliminating all the bad odors and bacteria. I mostly use clorox Beach but trying this wipes was good because it was just as useful and reliable as the bleach but more useful for small surfaces like tablets.

Clorox wipes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The clorox compostable cleaning wipes clean as well as regular wipes. They are supposed to be scent free but do have a clean scent to them. I used these to clean my bathroom. I'm not sure if I believe how compostable they are. Clorox isn't really known for being safe for our planet so I am skeptical about that claim. They might say they are trying to do better by bringing products out like this but are they really doing better or just saying so so that we buy more of their products.
