Chrisina Aguilera glam x is a nice lite, sweet but not to sweet, soft and not over powering perfume. This review is coming from someone that can not normally wear perfume as my allergies are so bad and I get a massive head ache from almost all perfumes. If I want to wear any perfume I have to spray it on the bottom of my pant legs. I was a little Leary of spraying this on me as I did't know how I would react....I was pleasantly surprises as it is a soft smell and not pungent. I sprayed it on my wrist and it was not over powering from the start. The smell to me is a mixture of lightly scented flowers. Nothing over powering. At first I was not sure if I liked it and them when I did not get a headache from it and it had a nice soft smell that lingered lightly. I have sprayed it on me early in the morning and there still is a lit scent left at the end of the day. I have worn Glam X 5 days in a row and did not get a headache from it. If you like something light, not to heavy and a bit of a different smell then I recommend Glam X.

Nice Pleasant Perfume

I received the Christina Aguilera Glam X Eau de Parfum Fragrance Spray for Women. This parfum smells amazing. It has the scent of sweet fruits, sensual florals and warm indulgent amber and musk. It is inspired by the glamorous aura of a diva. The bottle has an hourglass shape that is gold in color with a black lace look and red writing. It is a very prety bottle and the box it comes in is golden in color also. The shape of the bottle fits perfectly in my hand and is easy to spray. It sprays a light mist instead of a heavy one like some other parfums I have tried. The smell is not too overpowering and lasts about 4 hours before it fades away. I received the 1 oz bottle and it usually sells around $20 at Wal-Mart. I think it is well worth it. My husband was really impressed with the smell also. This is definately a parfum that I would consider purchasing more of when I run out. Christina Aguilera is a diva and her parfum is perfect for a diva (no I am not a diva but I love this parfum). I would definately recommend this Glam X parfum to my friends and family that like a sweet amber musk smell.

smells really good

Purchasing perfume is a very personal buy for a woman, let alone a man. Each woman has
their own preference on the scents that appeal to them. This being said Christina Aguilera Glam
X Eau de Parfum Fragrance Spray is the exception. It is a not over powering fragrance with a very
subtle aroma. Due to its formula, it has a different fragrance on every woman. To verify that,
I let our daughter try some when she visited. She liked the fragrance as well as my wife and the
aroma was a little different for her.

What really made my day was my wife went shopping the other day. She wore the clothing she
usually wears shopping. This time she put on Christina Aguilera's Glam. When she got home she
told me that many people complimented her on how nice she looked. 

Men if you want to make points with your wife or girlfriend buy them Christina Aguilers's Glam
X Eau de Parfum Fragrance Spray. Women should purchase it for themselves to impress the
man in her life.

A speical kind of fragrance

This is a lovely, soft, warm scent; kind of sexy. I typically like musks, vanillas, and Moroccan oil type smells. My all-time favorite used to be Dark Vanilla, but it was discontinued years ago. This is my new favorite. This is not like any of those (not a definite musk or vanilla), but has that warm deeper kind of aroma. It is not light and airy such as baby powder or Emeraude. One of the things I especially like is that when I experience hot flashes, it warms up and smells really nice. So, it's almost like aroma-therapy. While it is a soft scent, it does not wear off and quickly disappear. It is soft but long lasting.

Soft and warm scent

I chose the Christina Aguilera Glam X Eau de Parfum Fragrance for my Spark Reviewer evaluation
of a product. I was deceived upon receiving the package due to the size of the box. However, the inner product for the product is large compared to the actual size of the bottle. The bottle has a slender petite shape in size. The spray top is wide and comfortable when pressing the pump. A fine mist of parfum project from the pump. The scent is light and sweet. The fragrance has a mellow floral scent. It is something you could wear daily or on a special occasion, leaving a memorable scent of you.

Christina Aguilera Glam X Eau de Parfum Fragrance

This is a free product I received as a participant of WalMarts' Spark Review process established to help prospective buyers shop confidently, be informed and to aid in a positive shopping experience. I generally test a product for 2 weeks prior to reviewing to provide you a straightforward, reliable and true experience (rather than fluff).

Initial impression: Visually bland & conflicting Graphics to name GlamX - sexy shaped bottle.

Packaging/Assembly: The packing was straightforward. Boxed, packaged well, shipped from Walmart and delivered to my door by UPS. 

Performance/Quality/Value: Glam X perfume by Christina Aguilera came in a 30ml / 1 ounce bottle of perfume. The bottle has womanly curve shape to it, easy to hold, with an overall gold glitter appearance. Black floral lace embellished the more slender neck of the spray top neck and is topped by a cute clear plastic faceted cap which offers an antique feel to the bottle. The spritz sprayer works great and the top seats nicely on the bottle. The perfume itself initially came off very mild, light, airy and is ideal for summer. Prone to migraines, I personally experienced a headache after wearing the perfume for less than an hour and had to wash off and change my t-shirt. There is no prominent smell I can compare it to however, the scent is mildly floral and very sweet. I am uncertain how much this is being sold for however I know that trying it, I would not purchase it as the scent is not appealing to me. Additionally; I am conflicted by the name Glam X being paired with the bottle design and the scent and by appearance, simply looks low budget cheap.

Final Thoughts: Well, this may be a great option to some but not for me. Outside of the name, and overall appeal of the packaging, the scent is simply not anything special, exciting, alluring, unique but simply very floral and sickly sweet. It also triggered a headache which I hope does not grow into a migraine. Sadly, it did not meet my expectations and I wouldn't recommend unless I knew a person whom this perfume would be the perfect match for. Very Mild, Light Scented

I enjoy trying different scents and seeing what different notes, I might detect. This latest fragrance is Christina Aguilera's Glam X Eau de Parfum spray. It comes in a very pretty 1 fl. oz. flacon, which is a golden color, has a black lace design on it and a clear glass stopper. I would say the very first thing to strike me, after I opened the bottle and inhaled, was it has a fresh, sweet, baby powdery scent. I sprayed it on and that fresh scent was very strong. After a while I began to detect other notes, like Lily of the Valley and also a light musk. It has a fruitiness to it, too - I'd say orange. I think the lovely sweet freshness is coming from Freesia, which is really very nice. There is a bit of a heavier note, that is coming from some Amber, I think. Then there is something to it, that I can't place, which I find a bit harsh and not to my liking, but it is a not a main note. A good description would be to say this is a sweet scent, that smells fresh and has some spiciness, to it. I think it is very nice. I applied it and it lasted about 4 hours, before it might be reapplied. All in all, I'd say this is a very pretty, fun scent, which is also very youthful and makes a person feel good, to wear it. Thumbs up.

Fresh, Powdery Scent with a Touch of Sweet & Spicy

I can say that after receiving this product " Christina Aguilera " Glam X " Parfum, I informed my wife that I have a product for her to use. After opening this, she pumped one spray into the air and it soon filled the room with a fruity / citrus smell that she liked. It is a strong smell and it takes very little spray to have the scent Christina Aguilera developed. Nice gold package with a hour glass shaped parfum bottle. This is a 1 oz size parfum spray bottle, and it should last a long time because of the amount used, one pump/spray, has a intense smell that will last. This product is made in France and of the fragrances Christina Aguilera produces her products are made of good quality materials.

strong and lasting....

I waited a long time to write this review, because I didn't want to be unfair. After all, perfume choice is such a personal preference that my opinion might be radically different from yours. 

I'm not any good at describing the composite parts of scent, so I'll just say that Glam X, at first sniff, is a light, floral perfume. It's not heavy or overwhelming, which I prefer in a perfume. Having said that, I don't particularly care for it, and wouldn't choose it again. In my opinion, it is a youthful scent, meant for girls who are, after all, the backbone of Christina Aguilera's fan base. Each time I wore it, it just felt “wrong” for me. That may be intentional, since I'm old enough to be Aguilera's mother. Maybe even grandmother. I'm not sure of her age, and as we all know, it's impolite to ask.

On the other hand, my two nieces love it, and make a beeline for it when dressing to go out. I'm actually surprised that it hasn't become “lost”, since they know it's not my favorite.
Bottom line is, I don't hate it. If it were a choice between Glam X and no perfume at all, I might wear it. What I do know is that for girls and young women on your birthday or Christmas list, it's a pretty safe bet they'll like it. So, while I wouldn't purchase it for me, I will purchase it again.

I agonized over the fair number of stars to award Glam X in my review. Based solely on my preferences, I would probably have awarded it a single star. Since my nieces loved it, though, they would have awarded it five enthusiastic stars, so I compromised at three.

I'm Not Young Enough, But My Nieces Love It!

Christina Aguilera Glam X Perfume 1 oz Spray for women comes in a lovely golden colored box. The pretty bottle has a slender feminine shape with a clear plastic cap. Both the box and bottle are inlaid with black flowers. The scent is a blend of blackcurrant and tangerine with hints of sweet pineapple and flowering peony. It would be best used for evenings and special events. Even though the spray has a heavy amber fragrance, it softens to a soft powdery scent on the skin after awhile. I would not purchase for myself but the daring lady who wants to make a statement would feel feminine and beautiful for hours since the fragrance lingers.

Heavy Golden Scent

How do you write a review for a scent? Especially when the manufacturer gives you no clues about it. The only thing the box contained was the "ingredient" as "alcohol." So I have to guess as to what scent notes were used in this perfume. I'm guessing several floral ones, a musk one, and an amber one. Whatever they used the perfume is very strong. I tend to like my fragrance to be light. This one is more like the kind that little old ladies whose nose doesn't smell that well anymore wear so they can at least smell something.

I knew I was in trouble when, after wearing it at home for several days, I wore it in public and felt completely embarrassed to be wearing this perfume. It kept crying "look at me, look at me!" I was ashamed to think that others might pay attention to me because of this perfume.

So with all of that in mind I'll have to say that I don't recommend this perfume. Not unless you want a lot of attention.
