Hi Marina,

This condo is very easy to put together. It comes supplied with a small tool for you to do so. There are a total of 4 parts to connect. I have put together toys that were 100 times harder. Lol

Tools are in the box; similar to an Allen wrench.

This went together easily and it seems to be quite sturdy. I have it in my kittens room so she can look out the window and enjoy the birds. she seems to like the hiding place too.

Great perch for my kitten

kitty loves the scratching board and playing with the balls, but condo itself a little small for a 7 lb. cat, made really for kittens and smaller babies.....

I thought this would be a great idea for my cat. It was reasonably priced, easy to assemble and nice to look at in the living room. There is only one issue.....my cat will not go near it. Needs instructions on how to get cat to like it as much as I do.

Good color and easy to assemble

Perfect for kittens or small cats. My 3 babies love this especially loco the oldest kitten. I'm so glad I purchased this and very easy to put together as well

Small but great

I have two of these condos. One for the play room and one for the family room. I have a small two year old cat who weights 8 lbs and she fits in it very nicely but her sister weighs 10 llbs. and she does not fit in the condo. The little one lives it and sleeps it all day. Very plush and good value for the price.

Made for small cats or kittens

The picture of the item seems as though this is big enough for a cat it's not nice to have as scratch posts in the house the house is small to small for a cat to get into and barely big enough for him to sit on top

Cat condo small

I have had this particular Cat Condo for about 2 months or so and I can't say I'm impressed. I had gotten it for my 4 month old female kitten, Zoey. It is very small and would be best suited for small kittens. The only problem with that is kittens grow up very fast.
The Condo itself is less than 2 feet tall, standing at about 1 ft 8 in. It isn't all that stable. It wobbles when she jumps up onto it or down onto it. It will fall over or lean heavily if she takes flying leaps at it. The scratching posts are pretty useless and small. Anything larger than a small kitten is unlikely to get a good stretch out of using them and I feel as though the middle scratching post would be awkward to use. Small cats likely wouldn't benefit from the scratching posts either. Especially not the one supporting the perch/hide out. The perch is about 1 foot in diameter. Big enough for an average cat to sit on but laying down on it and taking a nap may be uncomfortable for anything larger than a small cat. The hide out inside the perch is somewhat to nicely roomy enough for a small cat and is plenty big for a small kitten. The tunnel is NOT big enough for anything more than a small kitten and the whole kitten is unlikely to fit inside. It is about five inches in diameter and four inches in length. The ball on the toy inside the tunnel came off just by me grabbing it. Most of it is covered in a soft furry type material that is pale brownish to chocolatey brownish in color.
As for durability; other than the ball coming off it stands up to a fair amount, although I feel as though the "ramp" scratching post could be easily torn/broken away from the perch should an accident happy such as someone getting their foot caught under it. It is pretty loose and at a somewhat awkward angle.
She is mostly uninterested in the toys and middle scratching post. She will use the middle scratching post to pull herself across the floor though. She will lounge on the top or take a nap inside the perch/hide out. She will somewhat use the ramp scratching post although it doesn't give her that nice STRETCH she needs to exercise the right muscles. I have never seen her once use the tunnel.
For Set-up, it was quite simple. The only thing I had an issue with is the ramp attaching to the perch/hide out. Instead of screwing the curved piece to the perch/hideout first, it is a lot easier to screw it to the ramp first instead. Then screw it onto the perch/hide out. Otherwise, you will have a hard time getting the screw to go into the ramp completely.

Overall, my biggest problem is the size. A two month old kitten that will grow to be average or larger will likely only get about 3 months good use out of this particular Cat Condo. However, it depends on your view and situation. For a breeders that need exploration spots for kittens or fosters that have cats and need inexpensive solutions for perches and such, this could work out great. Otherwise, saving money and buying a bigger, better cat condo that will last much longer through your furry friend's life is the better alternative.

My cat was freaked out by this thing. How would you like to play with something that is only going to accommodate 2/3rds of your body? And that was my small cat that likes to hide. Save yourself the hassel of the returns line...  Not intended for adult cats. Completely mislabeled.

Kittens: yes,  full sized cats NO WAY!!!

I based my decision to purchase this product on the photograph of two cats playing on the condo. In the photograph the cats appear to have plenty of room inside and out. Well I put it together and my twelve week old kitten who isn't full grown barely fit in the condo. I think the photo used online is misleading.
