My Mom really likes this magnifying glass she has had a couple of different ones but this is her favorite she has dropped it so much that the light doesn't work   So she wanted another one.

It is a replacement for the exact same thing I purchased years ago. I wore the other one out, scratching the lens, so decided it was time for a new. one... I like the stand, the light etc.. Exactly what I needed...

Great minus light

I bought this magnifier on clearance, and after receiving it, I can attest it's not worth more than a couple of dollars. In fact, the magnifier at the 99 cents store seems sturdier.

1. It comes without the required 2 AA batteries.
2. It cheaply made, with flimsy construction.
3. The instructions are worthless (attached screenshot of the single page instructions, the rest of the pamphlet consists of translations in other languages).
4. The LED is too dim to be of any use.
5. The flexible arm hardly bends, and it's prone to break.
