The metal that holds the weights on the vertical A-pillar is very thin. I wouldn't trust it with more than 35lbs for the heaviest dumbbell. I don't know what the specs are. If you are worried about heavier weights then I'd order Body-Solid GDR44. I wish I would have bought that one. IF you're working with lighter weights then I'm sure this one would be fine. I do have to go buy some extra washers to put it together as some of the bolts were too long. My body solid pro smith machine is a much better quality and I've had it for years.

CAP has a 5 tier that they sell along with an 150 LB set (5, 10, 15, 20, 25) of dumbbells.
I have about 200 Lbs on here now ( 6 bells)

Will the CAP rubber hex fit on this rack? I&#39;m looking to store 5lbs - 20lbs?  I hear mixed reviews if the rubber hex will fit.

As advertised

Great product and very easy to assemble. However, there are two spacers that are not described in the assembly. They must be used or the long bolts will not tighten all the way when screwed into the capped nuts. Other than this point, I very much like this rack. It easily holds six sets of dumbbells and is very sturdy.

Excellent dumbbell rack.

I bought this to keep in the bedroom. It's perfect for a compact space. It had a kerosene smell when putting it together, but it dissipated over the day and was gone by the next day.

Great for small spaces

This racks holds my 15-40lb sets. The setup was easier than another CAP rack I previously purchased. My 8-year old actually put this one together for me. I gave one as a gift, and they loved it as well.

Perfect, compact rack

The quality of this rack is just like the ones in the gym. We are so happy with this purchase. It was easy to put together. Some of our dumbbells do not fit because they have a bigger handle but the ones without a coding fit perfectly.

Home gym

This rack is durable and holds plenty of weights.  The rubber grommets are durable enough to support the dumbbells well.  It is safe for kids to be around and will not tip over.

Overall very good quality, my only issue is the rubber mountings where barbell goes they were all ripped, poor materials.

I was looking for something that wouldn't take up a lot of floor space and this works great for me. It looks good and holds all of my new hex dumbbells with room left to add more. Dumbbells are easily accessed and the rack seems to be pretty sturdy. I am very pleased with it.

Works well for me

A little bit flimsy where the weights sit but does the job.  I just wish it was a little heavier duty, but I have 10-25lb dumbbells on it an it holds up.
