is the carafe glass or plastic. had a Mr. Coffee, loved it but the carafe just broke, and can not replace it.

I previously reviewed this item and gave it low stars because the top lid wasn't closing flush with the maker.  However we realized after setting something on top of the lid for a little while it started closing flush with the maker. It must have just been the packaging.  This tea maker is so cute!  It works great and the look of it is exactly as the picture.  We love it!! It's worth every penny. It's the best one we've purchased to date.  And we've purchased many over the years!! I would deff recommend it to others!  And It looks great in my kitchen.

I use mine for making iced tea. Quick and easy to use. Love it's look and it matches my cabinets! I was very please with the price. Convenient to brew my tea then goes to fridge in same pitcher that water drips into. Has ice line that you can use, I used to to measure fruit juice into my tea. Versatile. Highly recommend.

I love my new iced tea maker. It works great and it's really cheerful looking on the counter. The pitcher is a good size and seems really sturdy.
Although the unit is made of plastic it seems to be a very well constructed appliance.
I got it on sale and feel it was good value for the money.

The tea maker is a life saver for me.  It is easy to use and you just set it and leave it.

Plastic pitcher is a bit flimsy but the tea maker works as promised

Of the things that i xould complain abou the main one would be that the lid covering the water reservoir seems to have warped a little so it does not sit flush. 

The tea maker makes good tea and using it is much like using a coffee maker. It brews fast and I really like the strength adjustment lever.

There were two different colors displayed in the ad the one I received was the lighter shade of the two. Closer to sky blue than to teal.
