BreathableBaby - Breathable Safer Bumper, Fits All Cribs, White 4.4 5 116 142
Better than traditional, thick bumpers This is an excellent alternative to the traditional, thick bumpers - it is flexible, to prevent baby from using it as a step to climb on, but prevents baby from getting his arms/legs stuck through the rungs on the crib. It really is of a breathable fabric, so I felt much better knowing that the baby could breath, since he inevitably slept with his face pressed to it. There is one draw back - depending on the size of your crib, it may not fit perfectly, but we found a pair of Velcro tabs can fix that easily. 06/20/2008
did not work for me Although the product was good quality, it did not work for my crib and I sent it back. The website did not describe it completely. It did not work for a "closed end crib", and I did not find that information until I opened the package and read the enclosed information. 01/13/2009
Perfect Compromise!!! I absolutely LOVE this Bumper Pad!! I am a Foster Parent and only take infants. I was devastated when I found out we were NOT allowed to use Bumper Pads in our cribs!!! (I didn't care about not having toys, blankets or pillows in the crib) It seems I get the babies who LOVE to creep and end up against the rails!! When I found out about Breathable Bumper Pads I just had to have them. These pads are allowed due to the breath-ability. It's a great compromise that keeps baby's arms and legs from getting stuck through the rails yet are breathable if they get their face pushed against them!! I would recommend them for everyone!! The use of these bumper pads along with my Angel Care Monitor gives me a peaceful, no worry sleep even with high risk infants!!! 06/21/2010
Perfect! At 5 months, by son started standing in his crib and would try to climb out using the regular bumper that comes with the crib bedding. This is perfect. Not substantial enough for him to stand on, but keeps his arms and legs from falling through the slats. Can be tricky to install. We watched the YouTube video link they give you in the instructions and it was really easy. 11/29/2010
