Motor

It works excellent for what I use it for. Before buying: open box and make sure rubber bump pad is in box. If not then you will have to leave tires off to use it till you get a pad or do a exchange. It will walk across floor without these. Also consider where you live for warranty work. My nearest service center to get it repaired is 200 miles away from my home.

A very good compressor.

I'm very pleased with every aspect of this entire transition. I purchased a quality 'shop' air compressor and I saved a few dollars by purchasing it online at Wal-mart. I'm a senior and currently in the process of downsizing my shop and shop tools. I sold my 'large' compressor because I wasn't able to handle it by myself. This smaller air compressor provides all the air I need for my present requirements and I can 'deal' with it by myself.

'Fresh Air'

I ordered online with free home delivery. The original was Delivered all busted up. I had to take it to the local walmart for an exchange. The exchange went smooth. The only problem I had with it was that It was heavy. But I do not blame it as it was built sturdy and does not look cheaply made.

I bought this as my 6 gallon Bostitch, though a great product, could not handle to new tools that I bought, Framing Nailer, Sprayer, Cutoff saw, Drill, Impact wrench etc.. Its a great all-rounder for home use and mobile enough for professional use.

Great product at the best price and customer serv

I got this unit to replace an old reliable 20 gal. Campbell houshfeld unit that finally rusted thru after 25 years of service. This Bostich unit seems very well made and has 6 gal more capacity and a higher cpm output that will allow me to use all my air tools. I also like the upright construction and large wheels for easy moving.

excellent home compressor

I haven't had this unit long but it appears to be a good value. Even more since they marked it down another 20 bucks. I'll update as I get to use it more.

Great compressor.

I have had this for a week or two and so far so good. I bought it online from Walmart because the price at the store was more expensive. I bought it for 30 to 40 dollars cheaper then at my local walmart. I have seen this before and was told that its walmart but a different walmart online. I was like what you get the profits and post them on the one corporate website. But any way this unit is good for the average garage Mr, or Miss fix it. It is loud since it is oil less. Make sure you drain the water from the tank after every use.

Bostitch 26 Gallon is a geat buy for a DIY person

nice compressor

This is a good compressor for the cost. I picked it up with site to store for $239 in the beginning of June 2014. Cycle time is 5 mins on 5 off which lets the compressor get to about 120psi so you need two cycles to hit a full tank. The included regulator is restricting so i do recommend grabbing a decent ingersoll air regulator with a dryer onboard. When first using this it could barely power my impact to remove lugnuts off a standard car, then i switched the regulator to an ingersoll and it nearly doubled to output and made lugnut removal a breeze. Powers all my senco staple guns with ease, but a die grinder will need time for the compressor to keep up, remember cycle time is 5 minutes, dont over do it and this will last a long time.

Good for the money

IT WORKS FINE,  EXCEPT IT MUST NOT HAVE A BIG ENOUGH MOTOR TO BRING PRESSURE BACK.  IT DOES NOT BRING PRESSURE UP 150 PSI EVER.

RUNS WAY TO MUCH TIME TO COME UP TO PRESSURE.

When the package arrived the box was torn up . The compressor does the job . It does not pump up to 150 psi as advertised it shuts off at about 127 psi and the motor is weak takes about 20 minutes from 0 to top PSI and doesn't recover/ keep up with demand when using tools. But a good system for a starter and price

It's ok

I started this compressor up and noticed the air leaked down substantially. I used dishwashing liquid to find the leak. It was around the main fitting from tank to the gauges. I have tried to tighten but still leaks. I will either return to store or try taking fitting off and see if I can repair it.
