These were the perfect plate(color) for our party we hosted. the price was just right. Walmart shipping was spot on.

this are nice and bright.  perfect for birthday parties, wedding and baby showers. I love how you can get the coordinating colors for the napkins and cups.  they hold up well and didnt fall apart like some plates do when you add food.

No doubt about it, the family loves it, my pocket book likes it.  Getting the cheap ones meant lots of waste by having to stack them in 2-3's.  Getting the super expensive ones meant lots of money.   This is perfect.  Just thick enough, moisture repellant enough to work in most situations.

Won't work if you have someone who puts a half a pound of mashed potatoes on it!!!  Better for those of us who are careful with our portions, know enough to get 2nds if you are starving.

I buy the dessert ones for use most of the time, because it discourages overloading the plate.  A child will load a half pound of mac and cheese on it, and you will see it bend!   So remember, get lots of dessert ones, and just a few of these for occassional home use.  Fat Uncle Freddie... better go for the expensive brand, or regular plates because this is not designed for more than 6-7 ounces of food at a time!!!

Yes, your sloppy joe won't soak through.  Slices of pizza look good on them, and yeah, they even look classy.

I love it when I find a great deal just by looking in another department.  Same quality as Dixie or Great Value but CHEAPER.  Plus I love the fancy Gold for a nice change. Great for your BBQ with friend's

like the gold color plates the add class to the birthday decorations. we use these for regular everyday birthday parties and for mile stone birthday parties too.  Goes well with gold plastic ware.

rather flimsy

Perfect color. Not so perfect quality. Very flimsy. Would only use for very light items…. Finger foods, cake, or cookies. Would not use plate for anything that requires cutting or too hot…. Requires two plates. Not economical.

Only for show or if you love sweets

These plates are way smaller than the description.  I measured the eating surface across and it's about 7.2 inches!  I could see straight out of the box they were not 9" across.   Even the description on the back lists 8.625".  Which might not be a big deal to some people, but for a party, I need as much room as possible for my guests' food.

Wal Mart really needs to change the description on these plates.  I am not sure if I have time to return them as my son's birthday party is coming up soon!  Also because they are made in the USA, of course, I really want to use them :(
