Yes, I do not know what the weight limit is but both my adult son and I sit on it to put our shoes on in the morning.

This should not be used as a seat. It is not tested for a weight limit on top of the unit.

Could I use this as a seat? What is the weight limit?

Because the lid is hinged, we did not include a tray on the other side of the lid.

There is open storage space under the lid of the ottoman.

For the price this ottoman is a good quality, however I have only used it for a few weeks.  So far I am happy with my purchase.

This is exactly what I was looking for at a decent price.  The red color matches my decor perfectly - it is a rich red, no orange cast. My accent pillows and drapes are called 'merlot' or 'cabernet' but are red not wine colored (if that helps anyone). Decent quality, too.  I also keep my knitting projects in there.

Excellent purchase

Works great. Has to order online because the one in the store was damaged. Took awhile to arrive, but I am happy with the product. It is a toy box for my granddaughter and a foot stool for guests!!

Cube Hinged Ottoman

We've purchased two of these ottomans now, and they are great! We use one in our bedroom as a step stool for our toddler and small dog to get on our bed. And the other is in our toddler's room. They're very sturdy for sitting on and provide extra storage. We got the faux leather which wipes clean easily.

I bought two of these for my basement to slide up to the couch when needed instead of resting your feet on my coffee table!! Also doubles aa extra seating when needed! I store blankets and remote controls etc. inside them. Quality is very nice and sturdy and I love the design!

Great Product

The look was great, but it did not open properly. The top was coming unattached from the moment I took it out of the box because the hinge was not attached in the appropriate place. After opening and attempting to shut it, the screws that were already loose came completely out and the hinge remained stuck, taking strength and maneuvering to get closed to look normal. And it is such a large purchase, who wants to send it back??? And this should have been seen prior to being sent to Walmart from the company, this was terrible!!!
