You should have three rods - two are larger in diameter and have holes in one end where the third, smaller rod will slide into - the outsides of the larger two rods should have a place for you to screw the decorative balls onto - if you are not using the smaller middle rod then then the two ends of the large rods should butt snuggly together and be held into place by the middle bracket. Hope this makes sense :-)

Sorry if these answers are late. Havent been on in a while. No they dont lock. Should be 2 bars that hold the balls or whatever ends you got and then one middle spacer bar that slides in the between those bars. Only way I got them to stay where i want them was to tighten the bar holder screws on the hanging brackets with better screws and a small slice of duct tape between the rod and hanging bracking to add a little friction.

My rod doesn't lock in place and I didn't think anything of it since it works fine without locking.

One of end Rod is actually middle rod, so dissassemble all three and reassemble

The curtains come with the finials screwed on, but one finial is on the center extension portion of the rod - don't know why they do that - so unscrew the finial from the smaller and put it on the other, larger portion of the rod that has no finial. Then slip the smaller extension rod into the two larger ones and VIOLA! As to if you're missing hardware, you should be provided with three bracket packets (two outside and one center) that include brackets and two screws each for a drapery rod that size.

I wish I knew...great question though! I just sent mine back and ordered a new one since I thought it was an error in packaging.

HOW DO I CONNECT 3 RODS FOR CANOPY DRAOERY ROD (66"-120") 110"?

Hi! Yes, the longer rod comes with a matching third bracket. It is made of the same sturdy material as the two end brackets.

Does the larger length come with a center support bracket?

You have to take one of the ends off and flip it around. I had the same problem but they do fit.

Take the end off the smaller rod and connect it to the other large rod. The skinny rod goes between the two larger rods.

Make sure the knob is on not on the wrong rod. The rod smallest in diameter should not have a knob since it is inserted between the remaining two.

Hope this helps.

Take the finial off the smallest circumference of the three sections and screw it onto the larger section with no finial. The smaller section goes inside the other two - it's the extension portion. Don't know why they put the finial on the extension part but they do, so switch it around and your rod will fit together.

The rod extended just as advertised and went even a bit further. I have a very large window and this was my major concern. It comes with all the hardware to hang and has a center brace to hold center of rod if needed for use with heavier curtains. The rod itself is slender which I found great for the curtain type I picked. (panels that thread the rod through the top) Also, the picture does not do justice to the ornament ends which in person seem a bit bigger to me therefore in my opinon makes it look like you spent a bit more than you really did.

Solid Rod

I bought this rod in the store. It never caught my eye online, but it's very beautiful in person.

It is sturdy, my boys pull on the curtains all day and it's still intact.

Only bad thing about this rod is that if you extend it as far as it will go, it does sag in the middle. :( It looks pretty bad. I am going to replace this with the larger size.
