I would say medium. Alhough, I used a larger one and its beautiful.

The small size is what is needed. There is a small sheet of paper that comes with the lamp that specifies the dimensions you need. Wal-Mart has some at their store. I brought the lamp along and tried it on at the store. The price of the lampshade was very reasonable.

Is this a plug in or can it be battery operated

DO NOT BUY THIS LAMP. Mine started sparking when I moved the cord tonight, actually shot small flames out. My comforter has burn marks, I have char marks on my hands. I am throwing the other one away too. Not worth the risk of losing my house or my life

I really love this lamp! It's a very cute light blue color and it's just the right height. I bought a white lamp shade to go with it and it looks adorable. I like the simple on/off switch you just have to push in (instead of a twisting type). Overall I recommend.

Chic and Sturdy Lamp!

It is a cute lamp and go well with any kind of wall or room decor. It is small and perfect for a night lamp. Lamp is small so it does not take lot of space on table which leave space for my phone and tablet. Lamp is durable. It looks safe with kids in the house. I have got the teal color which goes well with my teal color curtains. Soft On and Off button.

I thought that this lamp might be cheap looking, but was pleasantly surprised when I received it.  I also purchased the Mainstays Drum Lamp Shade in teal and together they make a really cute bedside lamp and match my decor perfectly.  I love it!

I ordered two of these lamps for pickup in the store, when I opened the boxes one lamp was black, I ordered two white lamps. The other one had cracks at the base. I would have bought these in the store but they did not have the white. These lamps are just what I was looking for and disappointed at the whole experience. Usually Walmart is much, much better.

I was hoping these would work in my den. They are very pretty. They were delivered quickly but the boxes were open and there is some kind of black greasy stuff all over them. Some cones off but it still leaves residue that won't come off.
