I would call the color "oatmeal". It's not brown but it's not ivory. It's a textured tan color.

I would not stack these items.

IT is not pure ivory, but I would call it a mottled light tan. Not a bad color at all.
I have not tried the stacking. So I cannot say on that .

I just purchased this item....I can tell you it is Ivory/natural in color and the frame is a bronze/brown color.

I can't answer the stackable question since I'm not stacking them.

Just posted a review about this - the color is closer to olive than white. If the color is a big factor for you, too, then I'd advise against getting this.

It is more of a coffee color, light tan maybe. Its not an intrusive color, it blends in.

Hi, I put a piece of glass on the top and then you can stack it...or purchase a cut piece of wood at the home improvement store cut to the exact size...then add the second section.

They stack very easily. You have to put the smaller end of the legs on the bottom and then remove the black plastic caps from all legs and they will fit right into the larger holes on the top of the first unit.

One end of the pole is tapered. The plastic cap comes off and one pole fits into the other. Hope this helps!!

The top legs are more slender than the bottom ones. You need to remove the little rubber caps from the legs and then just slide the other unit on to make a stackable set. Oh yes, remove the little rubber caps from the bottom legs of the top unit or it will not slide on. Hope this makes sense and helps you.

Take the black caps of the end of the side rods.
The large open ends fits over the smaller rods

Take the rubber covers off the the bottom of one set. Remove the rubber covers off the top of the other set. The smaller leg end should slide into the larger end.

Each shoe slot is 7 inches wide by 5 inches tall. They are plenty deep, but for large men's shoes you will have to use a slot for each one, instead of fitting them both in the same slot. They are made of sturdy fabric, so there is some give when fitting them in the slot which is why I opted for this one instead of the wooden one.

7" x 5" (longer on bottom). Just measured it with ruler.

I got almost all my shoes in this except my boots. this is easy to assemble only a philip head screwdriver. You only put together the rails very easy. Took 10min to put it together. It is really cute too. I put it in my closet but it is so nice you can use it out side of your closet. I just don't have the room.

I had been looking for a shoe organizer that I liked and saw this one in the Better Homes and Gardens magazine. Went straight to Walmart.com and ordered two. Love them! Very easy to assemble, sturdy, and fits 16 pairs of shoes nicely. You can also fit three pairs of shoes on the top. I love how organized my closet looks now :)

I hate shoe organizers they NEVER keep shoes organized until I found this one I am amazed at how neat and clean my closet looks so I went back and bought another one :) easy to set up and stackable.

Finally a real shoe ORGANIZER

Using mine in a closet and was able to get more than 16 pairs of shoes into this rack. Also has sturdy top for additional storage. Would recommend this item to anyone storing lots of shoes in a small place. Be sure to check the overall dimensions :)

Excellent option for shoe storage

I love this product because it fits in my small closet leaving lots of room to stand in. Fits normal shoes well. But I have a lot if boots which are harder to fit it the small holes, however some of them were able to be folded over and still fit in fine. This product is quite nice! And the top portion is also nice to store things on top. I liked it so much I actually bought two!!

Good shoe rack for small closet and regular shoes

I wanted a cost effective way to organize my shoes in my poorly built out closet. (which badly needs a makover) But for now.... this organizer is very sturdy, looks great and does the job!

Great Product

Found this when I went to Walmart in a desperate need of a shoe organizer for our new home and this fit perfectly. I'm actually going to go back and buy a second one to fit everyone in nicely. It's sturdy, some slots actually fit 2 pairs of shoes if they're sandals or flats. My Mom loved mine so much she got one for her own closet. Very easy to assemble!

So easy to put together. Sturdy. Was able to put a pair of heels or two pair of sandals in each cubicle with ease. Very roomy and so nice that it is stackable!! Love, love, love it!! Glad I bought 3 and will probably go back for more as gifts or to use in other ways for myself since the price was so reasonable.

This shoe holder was the perfect solution to my problem. Daughter and grandchildren live with me and shoes were always piled up at front door. This fit quite nicely near the front door, looks much neater now and the problem was solved.

I am more technically challenged than most. Once I found a Phillips screwdriver that fit, this shoe organizer came together in about an hour. The last screw was the hardest, but I was determined. Then I tightened everything up. Like most do-it-yourself assembly projects, it probably works better if there are two people. It has plenty of room for all my shoes except the boots. Appears durable and looks good. The price was half of comparable products on other websites like Amazon.

Easy Once You Find the Right Tool

This might work for smaller women's shoes but it is complete garbage for men's shoes. No pair of my shoes fit in one of the holes, not even flip flops.
