No, you have to use it with a lamp that has a harp and a top screw finial.

NO, it does not clip on to the bulb. you need a harp.

This lamp shade is the type that screws onto a brass hoop that is formed around the light bulb. I do not know if it comes in a clip-on model; but I'm sure the description of the item should cover that.

I ordered replacement shades for two of my LR lamps.  I didn't realize how worn and tired my old shades looked until I put the new ones on.  The brightness, alone, made this purchase worthwhile.  I'm sure I'll buy these shades, again, when the current ones start showing their age.

Exactly What I Needed

I was looking for a lamp shade to replace and old one that had outlived its usefulness and found this one. It was exactly what I wanted at a great price. I had seen other similar ones at a couple of other retail stores for twice the price (RIDICULOUS!!).

Perfect lamp shade and a great price

This lampshade is perfect for my lamp which had a very old lampshade which needed to be replaced. I admire it every time I come into the room. Excellent quality and it is as was described. Couldn't be happier.

Attractive, quality lampshade.

Needed lamp shade replacements for lamps I bought at my local goodwill. Shopped the clearance at Walmart and found these beautiful lampshades on clearance two for the price of one! They make my home so cozy and elevated the look of my lamps! More than happy and very lucky I found them!

Mainstays ivory linen lamp shade!

This fit my lamps perfect. It was for my bedroom lamps and I didn't want to spend a ton of money. This was perfect.

Right size, right price

I wasnt sure about buying it as  the Linen texture in the pic didnt show up well, but once rcvd found it does hav the attractive Linen look (see pic i took).

Nice looking Linen lampshade

These lamp shades are perfect! So easy to shop on Walmart.com. Love the option of picking up at my local Wal-Mart. Plus, so many options and making decisions from the comfort of my home - saves so much time & gas!

We are so pleased with these lamp shades!!

This lamp shade fit the lamp I bought very nicely. However, when I turned the light on I could see that there were stray fibers that did not belong on the shade that were imbedded in the shade. I would have turned that area to the wall, but the threads were too wide spread. I suggest checking shade in a strong light before taking home. The threads could not be removed. The threads were very visable.

Very nice looking lamp shade

I had trouble finding correct size shades for my lamps and didn't want dust collecting gathers. These fit the bill and my local stores didn't have them. Problem is (as other reviewers have stated) the packaging was terrible. They were thrown in large box with 10 lb sugar bag and spag sauce and coffee tin etc. Yes they were damaged- quite badly in spots but I have to make do since the store isn't an option and I needed them.

See my photos.  When the lamp is  turned off, you don't see the multiple awful looking black stain markings at all.  But when the lamp is turned on the ugly black stains are very visible.  The stains are not on the inner or outer surface of the lampshade.  Instead, they appear to be a defect in the manufacturing process.  It seems like some black substance got got injected 
 INTO the actual outer fabric and inner lining of the lampshade.  Also, the shade was delivered in a very thin plastic bag (no thicker than saran wrap) with no protective cushioning at all.  Because of such poor packaging  the shade was delivered with dents in several places.  I am very upset and am unable to get to the store to return for a refund, so I will call Walmart to express my disappointment and request a refund.
