I recently renovated my kitchen and disposed of all items that I had been hanging on to way last their useful lives. Out with the cracked white plastic silverware tray amd in with this gorgeous, sleek, beautiful adjustable bamboo silverware tray. I feel like my drawer has been elevated to a posh status every time I get a utensil. Whi knew something so inexpensive would make my kitchen feel so luxurious.

This is a really well made piece. However it smells. I'm not sure if it's a coating they put on the bamboo or if it's the glue that was used to put it together. I attempted washing it thinking maybe it was just from the plastic it was wrapped it. Washing it only seemed to make the smell worse. No better after it fully dried. I own quite a few bamboo pieces and have never had this problem. I just can't store utensils that go into our mouths in something that smells like this. Sadly, I'll be returning this to the store.

The expandable feature is great, however, it was a bit more flimsy than I thought it would be. For a house that uses it's kitchen a lot, we needed something stronger. The design was smart and find for budget friendly customers.
