We purchased the battery tender for our vehicle that has to stay outside year-round.  The battery on that vehicle does not last as long as the warranty period.  We have been happy with the tender so far.  It charges the battery and then keeps it charged with a trickle of electricity regularly.  We recommend it.

I've don't need to mow or remove snow often.  So my lawn tractor sits for long periods of time.  Now with the battery tender I don't need to wait hours to recharge the battery. I just get on the tractor start it up and get"moving".

It really works

I bought one of these units long ago when I had to replace my batteries in my 2000 Ford F-350SD w/7.3 diesel which takes two 12 volt batteries. I don't use the truck much and without the Battery Tender the batteries get very weak and a few times completely dead. I never had that problem again after I started using the Battery Tender, the batteries are ready to go everytime because of the float maintenance charge system built into the charger. So I went ahead and bought one for my son-in-law. We both only use our trucks about every other month.

works really good as long as the battery isn't complete dead.  it is a tender after all i had to jump my truck first to get enough charge to work. went from the truck to the lawn tractor. worked great

keeps the batteries charged up

Although I haven't used this charger I do have the dual charger model for my two trolling motor batteries.  It works great.  I left is on the batteries all  to keep them fully charged all summer long.  That's why I purchased the this one for my starting battery.  I can leave it hooked up and never have to worry about getting to the lake with a weak or dead battery.

Highly recommend these chargers for your boat or RV.

Best there is

I have been noticing Battery Tender products for several years and I always considered them to be overpriced considering similar competing products. Regardless, after reviewing other chargers I bought this one. Well after receiving it I used it to charge three of my smaller batteries. It worked very well, indicated charge status throughout the process and entered the Float/Maintenance charge status at the end of the main cycle. It is made completely in the US and I have to say that despite the almost double price compared to other automatic chargers I am completely satisfied. The unit has a very compact, well built, US made feel to it. I have no regrets and do recommend it to anyone who wants to charge smaller batteries (Lawn Tractors, Motorcycles, and similar sized batteries) with no reservations.

High Price but works very well!

I have five of these devices and I have found them to be superior to any other brand.  They are a secret most people do not know about. They are the ultimate device to have for any vehicle that is stored for any length of time. They will pay for themselves in the batteries that they keep maintained.  They are a absolute must for me.

Deltran Battery Tender

Nothing fancy but gets the job done. Left my truck parked for 63 day with the charger on. Returned two months later %26 started right up like it was new.

Brand new right out of the box didn't even turn on. We own five others of this particular model.
