The Dark Knight Rises was arguably one of the best films of the year and Mattel has continued its Movie Masters series of figures to include 6 notable characters from the film.

Movie Masters are Mattel's Adult Collector series of Action Figures. This figure is Gotham City PD Blake who may just be the next Batman.

The quality and attention to detail is very good on this series of figures, The figure is 6 inch scale and features 23 points of articulation with ball jointed shoulders and head and cut joints and pin joints on the arms and legs. It comes with no accessories, and one Collect & Connect Piece to create the Bat Signal.

Batman, Bane, Catwoman, Alfred Pennyworth, Ra's Al Ghul make up the other 5 action figures needed to collect all the pieces to build the Bat Signal. Gotham City PD Blake comes with the most important piece, the Bat Signal Lens. Catwoman is available in two versions, “goggles up” and “goggles down”, but there is no way to specify which version for online orders. There is one other a 7th, Walmart Exclusive figure Jim Gordon that comes with a gun, axe and the exclusive “Shattered” Bat Signal piece in place of the normal one that comes with Blake.

Movie Masters Action Figures are a must have for the serious Batman or Action Figure Collector and an awesome addition to anybody's collection.

Blake almost completes my collection. A must have for ALL Batman/Dark Knight fans!

An excellent addition to any Batman lovers collection!

This is not really a toy for children, but more of an adult collectible that will raise in price in years to come.
Seeing it as a collectible, it looks great and (I ordered online) came in pretty good condition. Someone else reviewed here saying not to order online because it wouldn't arrive in mint condition. I ordered 3 and they came packed safely in a big box, so they were just fine. Perhaps if you order a single figure it may arrive in an envelope or small box and be a bit more beat up. If you're spoiling your kid, then it doesn't really matter because it'll be opened anyway.
So I would recommend ordering in quantity to make sure they'll arrive safe in a big box if you care about the condition of the packaging. If you're not a collector, I'd recommend buying your kid a less expensive toy, since there's no point of getting this for them unless they already have others and are trying to collect pieces for the batman signal.

Great as a collectible

I bought several batman movie masters figures from amazon but this one was like 25 dollars on amazon and was i think 12 at Walmart, always check both stores, the product is well made and realistic. I got these for my 4 year old and he loves them, they are made for collectors but at a price of under 12 bucks each they make great toys to.

Great toy for kids when they are on sale

If you're a collector and want to keep these sealed in mint packages this is not the way to go. They ship them in bubble mailers. I ordered one 3 times and every time I returned it because each time the package looked like it was stepped on 5 times before being mailed. If you're buying to open the figure, then by all means...
