No labels, just the jars/lids/rings. No smooth place for the label either, the diamond etch goes all the way around.

No. I found some labels that were a bit bigger at Office Depot. They have stuck well to the jars despite the texture of the jars.

Idk about the online set, but the set I bought IN STORE came with sticky labels for the jars AND the jars had a smooth section to place the label. You could always cut out a circular label and place it in between the lid and ring :] either way, these jars are FANTASTIC! Hope this helps!!

I bought these jars as a Christmas present for a family member to use for freezer storage, etc. She said that for 2 people 12 were too many but if she could have a lesser amount she would love them. Therefore I am returning them. I have lots of sizes of canning jars and I freeze in them all the time. I love them

The ball canning jars are by far the best on the market and Walmart has the best price for them hands downs. I order these in bulk and Walmart delivers! Better deal then Amazon.

Wanted these "out of season" for Christmas gifts (banana nut bread in a jar, so cute!). Ordered online, no problems, shipped in durable boxes with dividers. In case you're wondering, 8 oz = half pint = 250 mL

These jars are the perfect size to portion dessert or any other food.

I use them to store my home made applesauce.  I feel storing food in glass is safer than plastics.  The lids and jar can go into the dishwasher.  If you are using them for canning, follow safe canning procedures to sterilize the jars and the contents.

These jars are very pretty. Using them to make pickles for wedding favors. Walmart had the lowest price for the jars and free shipping (I checked amazon, kmart, grocery stores, craft stores, and multiple other online sites) and I ordered 11 cases.
They arrived to my door quickly, nothing was broken, there was not a lot of extra packing, just the cardboard boxes with cardboard dividers. the boxes make for easy space saving storage until the wedding.
