My husband built it himself in 8 hours... also save your $ and have it sent to the store for pick up... it will fit in any standard truck because they compact it so well.

Very Nice But One Major Gripe

I built this for my kids over the course of two days, with my 7-year-old 'helper'. I took my time and everything went smoothly. Everything fit together nicely and the playset seems sturdy. My gripe is: You need to pre-drill HUNDREDS of 1/8" holes for the wood screws. This added several hours to the build time. They really should pre-drill these holes at the factory where each board is already being cut & drilled. TIP: Use two screw guns, one for driving screws and another for the pre-drilling.

Reading reviews of all the other swing sets on here is overwelming and almost made me not want to buy one. But, we bought this one and all the parts were there :) and my husband had no trouble putting the whole thing together by himself. My daughter absolutely loves it and as far as I can see, this thing is very sturdy and safe :)

One person answered the boxes were like 30 pounds each so if the ship weight is 209 pds then how is that possible? We have a chevy trailblazer and trying to make sure that will be sufficient to pick the boxes up in.

    • One box total measuring 84" long x 22 1/2" wide x 9" tall. Your weight is correct

    • I ordered mine S2S and it came in only one box. The box was heavy too, 200 lbs sounds correct. But the length of the box was something I wasn't prepared for. The box is probably 8' long.

    • My set came in one (1) box...about 2 feet wide by 10-12 inches high by 8 feet long and weighing just over 200lbs.

    • When I purchased this, my shipping notification said 2 boxes at 70 lbs. each. However, the set arrived in one box. The box fit in the back of a Dodge Ram 1500, with tailgate up, extending only about 6 inches past the gate.

    • There was only one box I was shocked and surprised, but yes one long box, I brought it home in my dodge grand caravan, but a trail blazer you might have to leave the back window open. Weight I am not sure, but my brother put it in the van while the walmart guys where gossiping about girlfriends, and at home my husband and brother carried it to the back yard. Hope that helps.

    • Ours shipped in one box and it was around 200 lbs. The box is very long though, so definately need lots of room to pick it up.

    • One huge solid packed box definately 209 lbs. Two to load minimum! I was alone and got help loaidng it thankfully, but when I got home I had to just take it out of the box piece by piece because no way I could move it myself. Upside: I was able to inventory the parts right from the start!

    • :) This is the one I think is funny. It's not a rock wall but a ladder with rock wall parts on it. So really it's not a rock wall at all. I think they get in the way more than make it fun to use!

    • The "rock wall" is part of the steps that are on the opposite side of the picnic table and across the corner from the slide.

    • It is behind the picnic table on the other side of the slide. Not a big wall...maybe 4 feet.

    • The rockwall is actually on the climb up the steps to get into the fort... Not just a wall by itself...

    • The "rock wall" is the steps... you put a few of the green climbing grips on it so it's a little misleading
