We bought just a standard crib mattress (also from WalMart: Safety 1st - Sweet Dreams Crib and Toddler Mattress for $36) and it fits snugly in the crib. Haven't had a problem with it at all.

I used a standard mattress ( 52.5&quot;L x 27.5&quot;W x 5.5&quot;H - Thickness: 5.5 inches) it&#39;s &quot;Safety 1st Heavenly Dreams White Crib Mattress&quot; and it fits perfectly in the marley mod. Hope that helps!

Looks like from the first two room photos (and then the subsequent toddler bed photos) that there are at least two crib heights...

Yes! There are multiple heights that the mattress adjusts to. You'll just have to redo the bolts each time you want to move it. Pretty simple though!

You absolutely can. I currently use my crib with a crib skirt and no bumpers.

Not sure of the diameter but I recently bought a standard pack of rail guards (trend lab fleece rail guards from amazon) and they fit perfectly. No need for the wide models. Hope this helps.

Arrived in perfect condition. Exactly what I was looking for. For anyone wondering, the listing does not say solid wood (like the other Baby Mod cribs did), but I contacted the manufacturer and they confirmed it was.

Great crib!

Was easy set up . . . about an hour. As a lover of mid-century modern furniture, this crib fits perfectly in my home. I contacted the manufacturer about the crib converting, and the only thing it does not have is the toddler rail (the piece that prevents your child from falling out). It does convert into a daybed--just remove the front and lower the mattress. Overall, I am very pleased with the value, quality, and overall look of the crib!

Easy set up and very attractive crib!

We bought this crib for both of my daughters first babies.  It is well made, looks very cool with their style and they love it.  My second daughter wanted it in the darker walnut legs like her older sister, but they did not have it so we went with the natural color legs which still looks beautiful.

Beautiful Crib

This crib is beautiful. It arrived on time in sufficient packaging. It was very easy to put together. My husband was able to assemble by himself. Solid construction and quality. Would highly recommend. It looks great in our modern nursery. The toddler conversion kit does not come with the crib but can be purchased separately. Very pleased with the product so far.

Great modern crib

This crib is fantastic! It's easy to put together and looks beautiful (especially if you like the mid century modern look). Our daughter is 26 months old and is still in her crib. She's in the 97th % for height but still has plenty of room to grow in the crib.  She's very active but has never tried, as far as we know, or been able to climb out of this crib, as we've heard children her age do with other cribs.  Our 6 month old son is sleeping soundly in his crib (the same exact model) on the higher mattress level. Its easy to change mattress heights. Yet only potential issue is that it could be tough for shorter parents to place their child on the lower level  b/c I'm 5'10" and it's far for me to lower my daughter into the mattress. But that's probably what keeps her from being able to climb out too! It's not the least expensive crib out there but it's far from the most expensive and it's truly worth every penny. It's held up extremely well over the last two years of use--no chipping paint or wobbly railings despite my daughter using it like a trampoline at times!

Love this crib so much we bought one for baby #2!

I was looking for a safe, nontoxic, sustainable, reasonably priced, beautiful, convertible crib, and this delivers on all fronts. I put it together myself in maybe 20-30 minutes (I'm 4 months postpartum -- if I were still pregnant or newly postpartum, I'd want help). I really like that it has rounded dowels as the crib slats, so that when the baby inevitably gets his limbs in them, it'll be easier and more comfortable to get him unstuck. This was one of the only good-looking, well-made cribs I could find with round slats!

When the box came, I was afraid the assembly was going to take FOREVER. To my surprise, it only took me 20 minutes to put it together. My daughter loved it immediately. 

Thank goodness the paint is non-toxic because she is teething and her preferred chew toy is the crib.

Easy to assemble!

I ordered this bed for my Granddaughter. It has a midcentury/modern look. The bed was easy to set up and looks great!!  Great bargain!

Great Purchase

I had spent WAY too much time researching cribs for my twin boy's nursery. I decided on Baby Mod at Walmart because it is manufactured by the same company that does other pricier brands yet looks EXACTLY the same for a MUCH lower price. The Marley popped up on Walmart's site after I had thought I was decided on the Olivia model. There weren't any reviews yet but I LOVED the two tone look and shape of the legs so I changed my mind and added the Marley crib to my registry. I absolutely adore this crib. My husband and I put it together in a snap and the final look is gorgeous. One thing I was disappointed about was that the toddler rail on this crib is not included like it was with the Olivia. I don't understand why they wouldn't include it with all of their models. All in all, if your're looking for a crib with an ultra modern look, this is the crib for you!
