It is a full 43 serving Net Wt. 3 lbs. 4 oz. in an appropriately sized can.

My can was pretty full. It lasts a long time. Not bad in taste mixed into recipes, either.

My cheese powder can was about 3/4 or a little more full, remember they sell by weight not volume. Things settle, but a little goes a long way.

No. Mine was about an inch from the top. There is a lot of cheese here.

Can feels totally full by shaking it. I haven't opened mine. I could hardly lift the potato soup mix I ordered as well. I'm pretty sure they're full

The cans are filled by pound weight. Settling occurs in transit and this cheese compacts very well. It may be half full but mine have been 3/4 full. Some things don't pack as well like broccoli or beans. Packing is based on pound weight, not the size of the can.

It doesn't list ingredients on the container; just says cheese blend powder. It seems like a blend of maybe powdered milk and powdered cheese so I just add water most times, for soups. Adding milk makes it richer and thicker for dips, and they do say mix it with their Augason Farms Butter Powder and milk to make creamy cheese sauce. You can add less liquid and spices for a good spread. I also eat it dry on pop corn.

You only need to add water. It's a bit difficult to mix by hand, so use one of those shaking mixer cups, or a blender if your power is working.

Now for a good emergency conditions rendition of mac and cheese, I use this cheese powder along with powdered butter and powdered milk with water, and add it to pasta.

The Cheese Sauce asks for 1 oz of milk.

I added only water for the cheese spread.

I used water and then poured it over rice.
I had to use extra cheese powder to get the extra flavor I like.

Water, that's it! You can add powdered milk, whey or milk for added creaminess.

It is like the rest I have bought very good but as a Disabled VER. person of Older senior would love for Wal Mart to put together a special for people like me. a one time special on many food items for use every day and storage as payday is light and 30 days between. But want you to know pl;eased with the product very much.

So far I have only used the product to make mac & cheese and in a recipe calling for cheese sauce. Both tasted great. I just wish it was for sale at the store and came in an eight ounce box instead of the huge can I ordered. I am seventy five years old and do not need anything with a 25 year shelf life. At my age I'm taking a chance when I buy green bananas.

Augason Cheese Blend is awesome. Use it on popcorn all the time, but especially like it for cheese and broccoli soup and in salads. The container is quite large and I didn't think I'd use it up too quickly, but I keep finding uses for it and now think it will be gone before long. It doesn't require milk to turn out good results. Milk and/or butter simply make it creamier. Really like knowing exactly what's in it, too.

I love this stuff for my emergency food supply because I love cheese. I opened the can and have used it to make the best broccoli cheddar soup with my dehydrated broccoli and carrots and I made DIY hamburger helper, cheeseburger macaroni with it and its way better than hamburger helper. I have made cheesy chicken broccoli rice casserole with it as well. It works perfectly for any cheesey recipe!

LOVE This!

This blend gives a great taste to many dishes. It makes the only mac and cheese that my grandson likes. I have also added it to cheese soup recipes. Nice flavor. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is cause a 5 is reserved for my own fresh real cheese.

I have tried a similar product and was happy enough with it. I actually bought this for long food storage. If life as we know it is interrupted for whatever reason, something to eat is better than nothing to eat. I bought a similar product from another vendor and the price was much higher, and I try to be a frugal shopper. Super Fast Shipping!!! It was on my doorstep within 2 days from ordering.

Bought this to try. It is nothing like other cheese powders. It lacks any color in dishes. It is more of a white cheese. In dishes it tastes creamy. But not a whole lot of cheese flavor. after tasting I had to add a bunch of cheese on top to taste like cheese. I am going to experiment some more. Maybe i am missing something.  Might just go see if I can get a better cheese powder. Made food ok but not overly cheesy.
