what does not madefor direct planting mean?

What are the sizes of all 3? The description gives the dimensions of one planter but oto shows three different sizes. Are all 3 the size listed

I purchased these on the Walmart website which I received from a third party (Plumrose, affiliated with Hayneedle). They came thinly boxed, one inside the other with no insulation. The boxes were slightly damaged, but I figured they were adequately insulated and would be OK. When I opened them they were dented all over, banging around in each other. The material was the thinnest tin and was pieced together with tin slats, like a whiskey barrel, so it wasn't even one piece of metal and the slats seemed glued together. I immediately called for a refund and received a return authorization. I was probably lucky that it was sold on the Walmart website so I had some recourse. The outer boxes were clearly marked "made in China" which doesn't necessarily make it bad, but this was inexcusable junk which would not have been purchased if they could have been seen up close.
