Yes, but it's so quick it really doesn't matter. I have been boiling my food and using the water so I don't loose the nutrients. Boiling makes it very soft.

all food processors make noise, you have to hear some crushing noise whatsoever, or you'll never find one that don't make noise, this product is not too noisy nor very loud, but you do hear some noise.

It isn't too loud but I wouldn't say it is quiet. I don't run it when my son is sleeping near by.

It is quieter than a blender or food processor and I don't find it to be obsessively loud, however I do not recommend using it next to a sleeping baby.

It's a blender, so yes it is a little loud, but it purees fairly quickly so it isn't on as long as a large blender. From what I have used before, there is no such thing as a quiet blender.

Yes, you should add some water. I use the water that I steam or boil the fruit and veggies in. You can add little by little until you get the consistency you need. Usually not more then a half a cup.

It depends, I have been able to make food both with and without water and even with the water I did not need to use much more than a tablespoon for a large batch.

You do and do not depending on the consisteancy of the fruit. Runs alot like a blender. No on the 220.

You have to add water EVERY TIME you blend just fruits. or else it wont blend all and it will be very very solid/dry

Water is needed for some fruits to make them less thick i.e. bananas. No it is not a 220V electrical device. 120V only, you'd need a converter.

I can answer the first question. You add between 1/8 and 1/4 cup of water to the food when it is blended.
