No lid came with this pan. I use a lid I already owned.

No, this pan does not come with a glass lid.

It did not come with a lid, buy it seperatley or go outside the box in thought process and purchase a decent splatter screen, I have them and the lid and use the screen the most. Handles on lids will get hot and need a pot holder, that is the only draw back other than draining purposes.

My current Ogreenic 12" skillet has a glass lid. Does this skillet come with a glass lid?

All they mean by "seasoning" the pan is covering the bottom with vegetable oil and heating it up until just before smoking. It explains it in the directions exactly how to do it so you can get the full nonstick performance of the pan. I have a 10" orgreenic and followed these directions and the pan works great. I don't know if it would work any different if you DON'T season the pan, but to me it was worth following the directions. Hope this helps.

Yes it needs to be seasoned. It is easy just rub inside on skillet with a thin coat of cooking oil and bake in the oven for 1 hour. All instructions for seasoning come with the skillet.

Yes. Use plain vegetable oil (not canola, olive, or other specialty type). Follow the seasoning directions exactly, remembering not to use soap at any time after seasoning. If you do, re-season.

They recommend seasoning for best performance, but it did not say it was required. I intend to see how it works WITHOUT seasoning as this is a home, Summer is coming and the temps are rising, but the A/C has not been turned on yet since the furnace may still need to run overnight. Seasoning I have done (and as they have recommended requires oil and a lotta heat (I usually go 350-400, but they say 300 for an hour - I guess there are a lot of ways to skin a raccoon) <G>

Absolutely season, if you do you will love the pans, if you don;t follow directions you will regret it. I have the entire set and love them Best ever and I am 53 and have owned my shar eof expenisve pots & pans like pampered chef, wofgang puck and others these are the bomb!

I read on another site that the pans needed seasoning, is this true and what is used for if so?

Yes, however it is advised not to use anything but wood or plastic utensils. To clean it only take water and maybe a little dish soap. Green pads will not scratch surface.

So far, so good. I do not recommend using metal in the pan though.

YES, BUT MY WIFE SUGGESTS USE PLASTICS SPATULAS AND OTHER PLASTIC OR WOODEN TOOLS

We have a 10" one that we have used a long time and so far it looks good. We only use soft turner on it and follow instructions on washing and it looks new. Liked this one so well we just got a 12" one.

Not sure on durability since I just bought the product. Shipping took an extraordinary long time. However, this product was definitely worth the wait. Best non-stick pan I have ever used. Nothing sticks, even tried cheese. Everything wipes off with just a wet paper towel. Now its the only pan I use.

I love this pan so much I bought several of them to give away for Christmas. It is so easy to clean up that I use it almost every day. And it looks so nice that I just leave it out on the stove.

these seem to be the best cookware we have ever had so far in our 28 years of marrage they are durable and resist scratching like some of the traditional non stick pans we have had in the past and we liked them so much we bought the whole set.

After I bought the 10" I was so pleased I purchased 7 more of the 12' skillets for my family for Christmas. It really is so easy, no oils or shortening needed. Healthy and easy clean up. A ham and cheese omelette will slide right out no sticking.

First infomercial that lived up to it's hype

It's everything that was advertised on TV!! It's only the second item that was what it was advertised & worked like they say!

It's so good, I'm going to buy another one.

This pan will not need scouring or scrubbing. Simply take a paper towel and clean it out. This pan has my highest praises. I have a smaller version of this pan and my daughter left it on the stove with the flame on under it. There was nothing in the pan so it just heated the pan and it was hot but nothing happened to the pan, my stove or my house. I do not recommend this to happen to you but I was so impressed I bought this larger size pan. Love it!

Incredible pan you will not be disappointed

seems sturdy, rivits instead of screws, well put together. I like it's lightweight. Good for someone with that can't handle cast iron. I'm sure with care, it should last awhile

I have two major disappointments with the orgreenic fry pan. First it is not flat on the bottom and does not heat up evenly while it wobbles on my glass cook top. Second it has a flaw in the pan that is a bump of the ceramic material that did not meld even with the rest of the pans inner surface when manufactured, I am sure they are not all made with this particular flaw. Gonna have to return it. I will say that the non-stick part appears to work but it just does not sit flat on my glass cook top which makes it hard to cook with. I only used this fry pan once and I just cannot work with wobbly pans.

Somewhat dissapointed not as expected.

My husband bought this - he wanted to get away from teflon. After 2 weeks of frying a few things in it - eggs would not come out - they started sticking, badly. I took it back and exchanged for another. Here we are, 2 months later, trying desperately to make it last because, once again, everything is sticking and you better not even put eggs in it.

Poor product, will never buy another - still looking for that idea to get away from teflon - but not in this company.
