I would think so seeing as like any other product its usually the same thing you buy off of tv since it actually says as seen on tv now if it didn't have that I would think they'd prob be fake also on the original site is says to look for a tag sewn on the pet thats says pillow pets or my pillow pets they have this that i know of so yes i would say they are the real deal

They are the same thing. The website for "my pillow pets" shows the tags that should be sewn on the leg of the pillow pet. it will either say "my pillow pet" or "pillow pet". both of those tags are genuine. here is a link to the site.

The pillow pet was a great invention, my son loves them and sleeps with them every night . He watches TV every night and one of them with him.

He is a cuddly little pal, my Perky Penguin. Soft & fun for any age. Have even used as a hand warmer on cold days. Good conversation starter! I own one & had to get this one for a gift.

What can I say that hasn't been said before - everyone loves Pillow Pets. They are so soft and cuddly and wash beautifully. My son has the dolphin and asked for the Penguin for Christmas. He will love it!

this pillow pet is very durable and it was a great price. Not the usual 19.99, but more like 15.00 at good 'ole walmart. I washed it after my son received it for his birthday. He really wanted this penguin pillow pet and he loves it. It washed well and looks good.

great pillow pet , great price

My 10 year old granddaughter wanted this for her birthday and was very excited to receive it. I have been with her for a week and she has had it with her constantly. It really is just a pillow. The strap allows it to sort of stand up. Little girls loved stuffed animals and that's pretty much what it is. My only complaint is that it seems to leave little tufts of black fur here and there.

My ten year old son wanted a pillow pet. My daughter, 12, has two. He seems to be enjoying it but the standard size pillow pets don't seem quite as plush as they used to be. I think it should be just a bit more fluffy. My son however is happy with the purchase and looking forward to having it for long trips in the car. They are easy to bring because they can hook onto their bag of electronics and stuff to bring in the car.

Not quite as plush as it should be

I was disappointed that I ordered this pillow pet through Walmart's site to store. I paid for the product and it came in quickly. At this point in time I am happy-as my child will receive his gift. However, upon opening the box-which I suggested, the cashier did not-the pillow pet was filthy. It looked as if it had been dragged across the floor-very dirty. I had to get a refund, because I would not accept this, not believing someone would actually send something so filthy. Then I had to go back online and re-order. My new order has just arrived and I will be picking up today, praying it is in good condition. I have ordered several things through the site to store which is such a nice option. However, feel the quality control on this one failed. I will still continue to use, but was disappointed this time.
