It was no different from buying a new one, everything was professionally repackaged.

Comes with device itself, wall charger, and lightning cable. They appeared to be new. Also comes with Apple manuals and original box.

To be honest it looks brand new. The front screen is defect-free now the back aluminum has a tiny hairline scratch that is barely visible. Overall it's worth the $100 less than getting a brand new one.

I can only go by my experience. I picked mine up yesterday and it looks completely new. The box was open and that was about it. It is worth it if you can make sure that everything is good with your unit in the first 15 days. If not, return it for a full refund.

I just purchased this iPad from Walmart and I love it!! No appearance defects I found and I am pretty picky about my electronics. It came in the factory box and it was scratch free, nick free, dent free!

I personally would not have gone any other way. Saving the money for this one was way worth it. I invested in their 2 year extended (drop, spill, etc) insurance and I got an awesome case for less than the brand new one. I can't even tell!!!

It is well worth the $200 you save if purchasing the 32gb model refurbished, which is the same price as the 16gb model refurbished. Mine arrived in perfect condition. No scratches or any visibility that it had ever been sold. It even had the factory like screen protector film on it! Has been functioning flawlessly and running iOS perfectly. No complaints here, nothing but happy happy happy!

I decided to purchase a refurbished iPad with Retina display to get more storage than with a new model. I found one on Walmart.com for $50 cheaper than the certified refurbished products on Apple's website and walmart offered better shipping. In fact the shipping was the best part of the purchase. I placed my order on a Sunday night at 10:00 pm on a holiday weekend, and for only $11, the iPad arrived on Tuesday. Upon arrival I inspected the iPad vary carefully because it was a refurb. While the iPad box was slightly dented on the corner the contents inside we're unaffected. Fit came with a new charger, and the iPad itself was free from any obvious defects. When I checked the remaining Apple warranty it appears that there is 10 months remaining on the manufacturers warranty.

Glad I waited for a refurb. I saved some money and used it to buy a case and stylus. So far my ipad 4 is working great! It's fast and the retina display is beautiful! So cool to have such amazing technology in a handheld device. I've had it for about 3 weeks now and use it a few hours a day. 32gb is more than enough storage space for all of my games, photo editing, digital illustrating, and social networking hobbies. 16gb def would not have been enough storage! Love my new ipad!
