Starter Set Needlework Frame. These frames are made of quality wood. All pieces are hand rubbed and finished. Frames feature metal hardware which is in the frames so there is nothing to strip and the frame will hold a firm tension. An added feature of the concealed hardware is that there are no bolts or nuts that require tools to tighten and no edges to snag your clothing or furniture. These frames offer an attractive means of displaying needlework in process as well as display for a finished piece lending a handcrafted unique look. Starter Set Frame includes 6in, 12in and 18in scroll rods (complete with hardware and hook and loop), 6in and 8in extender bars, one complete set of four knobs and enough self-sticking hook and loop for several projects. Made of solid oak. Package measurements: approximately 26-1/2x6x1-1/2in. .

This is a perfect beginning set of sturdy scroll bars. Can be configured in six ways to fit the project you're doing. I like the finger friendly screw on knobs. Better than hardware made of metal. Wing nuts are hard on my old hands. Packed carefully so there's no damage in shipping and made locally which is even better!

Sturdy and practical

I bought this to hold my counted cross stitch material while crafting.  The frame works wonderfully, and is a replacement for a different type (a plastic frame) that broke quickly through use.  It is sturdy and well-made, and buying it in the starter set made it much more affordable than in individual pieces through a crafting supply store I use.   I love the fact that you can make different sized frames with this depending upon the craft you are working on.  It works by attaching a Velcro strip to your Aida or linen.  Then you stick your work to the bars, which are covered with the fabric for the Velcro to adhere to.  you wrap it around the bars until tight, and you are good to go.  This frame keeps my work from being crushed.
