Just had a all new heating and air system installed in my home and wanted to make sure that the humidity level was where it was supposed to be and to also see if I was getting even temperatures in the house.   This worked perfectly and my temperature and humidity levels are right where they should be.  For only $10 this thing is worth every penny.    Also really like that you can set it upright or it has a magnet for the fridge.

I use it to watch the humidity and the temperatures in my boas enclosure. It works really well and is pretty accurate. I have a heat gun I use to double check levels and happy with the out comes.

Bought one for every adult child I have, they all were happy. These are the best. I live in a basement apartment, basically a 2 car garage converted to an apartment, and I have one on each side of the concrete dividing wall. It shows if I need the humidifier in the winter, or the dehumidifier in the summer. This way I know when to turn them on as to have the perfect humidity, because let's face it, basements are damp, and I do not want mold, too much humidity is no good, but, not enough is not good either. So, id give these a 10.

I love it! I had one for a few years, and liked it so much, that I have purchased 3 more for different rooms in my house. They all are pretty accurate when placed together (give or take a degree or 2, which is clearly stated in their description). They are easy to read. They also display the high and low temperature in the corner, along with the high and low humidity percent. The humidity gauge is easy to read, it clearly says, high, low, or ok, in the t little house on the screen, along with the prectange in decent size numbers on the opposite side. I definitely recommend!

After some research and price comparisons i came upon this humidity monitor. I live in a basement and to my shock and horror i had a moldy closet of incredible clothing. It never occurred to me to even think about the issues of living down under. All the sudden i was faced with monitoring the humidity level daily (which i knew nothing about,) but using the AcuRite, I soon found out it got up to 64% humidity (not good,) according to other research to prevent mold and mildew. I was really getting a lesson on moisture! I did order online and picked up in a nearby store with no problems or delay. I loved that they do free pick up in store, even though it's a ten dollar item, other stores do not. Overall, it become necessary to know the humidity level in my home, so no more leather or stuff gets ruined. Especially any the health concerns or air quality issues. It led me to buy 2 dehumidifiers that now my AcuRite monitors the new lower levels. It has already paid for itself, the peace of mind it has given me is great, the digital display instantly reminds me levels are safe and that makes me happy. Very satisfied with the product and in-store pick-up.

Great price, totally useful

Got three, arrived quickly but different reading for each unit while sitting next to each other.

Not accurate

VERY Inaccurate. I bought three of these and lined them up side by side on my fridge just to test them. None of them are displaying the same humidity level or temperature -- a seven degree span in humidity and a five degree span in temperature. And this is after several days of shuffling their positions. Each is consistently off by the same amount, regardless of position.

I guess they'll do for bafue estimates, but if you want to know what the temperature and humidity _really_ is, buy something else.

It’s doesn’t work right. I used it on its own before getting a humidifier. I ran the humidifier for 5 hours and the hygrometers reading kept dropping.
