It is an off white, but not a true ivory. My room has both white and ivory so it is somewhere closer to white than ivory.

I use it to sit on to put on my shoes... since the top fits firmly, its very stable to sit on (unlike others I looked at), I am 190, and have no issues with using it. As well the interior has a 1/2 inch lip around the inside that the top sits on, so is much sturdier than others I've owned. Don't think it would be an issue for 200 lbs for casual use.

That might be pushing it. Another reviewer wrote that it held up fine for his 160 lb frame.

The one I saw at my local store (and the ones I've ordered# was a true white The picture is accurate, with a good faux leather vinyl material covering. The tray was a varnished dark wood like material they did not have any boxed at my store, so there was no box label to read, so I would have to assume that it is a painted and varnished wood-composite material #the one I saw had no blemishes, and was almost a true black tray, as well the batting in the cushion is probably a man made synthetic material or polystyrene foam. I will be receiving mine tomorrow, and if there is anything other than above, I will note it in my review after I receive them. Hope this helps

I don't know I ordered red. Its so pretty. The tray on mine is black plastic seems very sturdy.

I bought the ocean blue one. The tray inside is black. The tray is a hard finish. Fabric for the ottoman is heavy vinyl.

Can't answer about the white vs. vanilla color.

I purchased 2 of the tray top ottomans in blue. The inside fits a letter size hanging folder frame, the common, adjustable 14 in to 18 in type I purchased did not need any adjustments, it fits the 18 in length easily and the folder tops are below the inset tray when it is turned over. Next I'll add casters!

Perfect size for hiding files!

I got this ottoman for my entryway for people to sit on & take their shoes off. It seems plenty sturdy for that purpose. As other reviewers mentioned, the sides could be prone to damage by puncturing, as the vinyl material is stretched over the frame with nothing solid underneath. For my purposes, however, that is not an issue. My only complaint is the handles - not very attractive. It would be nice if they modified the design & got rid of those.

Nice ottoman

This identical ottoman was literally half the price on Walmart.com as it was on another website. Ship-to-store delivery was fast and very easy. Unfortunately, we ordered the ottoman in purple, and it was not the right shade for our living room, so I returned it. The product was great, however, very attractive, and the storage and lid that doubles as a tray is a great feature. I would definitely recommend it and would also consider ordering another one in a different color.

great ottoman, excellent price

I bought this to hold all the make-up in my daughter's renovated bathroom.  It  looks small but has a lot of storage. I  like how the cushion is also a tray. The color is perfect. The item arrived in 3 days instead of 2 weeks.

Classy and functional

This storage container is the perfect accent choice. It has several very creative uses. It's a storage bin, acts as seating, used as a table WITH removable trays that can be used to transport dishes and the like.  The blue color I chose fits perfectly with my room decor. I liked this storage ottoman so much that I bought two.  Great value for the price.
