I work for Walmart overnight stocking and this shoe is great on concrete for 8 hours and so far after two weeks im very pleased for only 20 bones...excellent value

Great Buy

This is by far the best ever shoe for use in door inside my house. They are very light-weight and facilitate my compromised gait due to my disability. I only wear the lightest shoes and these are no exception. In addition, the styling appeals to my very modest taste. I have been wearing these now in the house for over a year and I have no complaints. Please, Wal-Mart continue to offer these excellent, very affordable shoes.

best ever in door shoe

Wished I would have found these at my local Walmart before I purchased from local department store for $45.00 !!! That's why I bought 3 pairs from Walmart !!!

As my husband is a nurse, he needed a comfortable shoe. He tried various expensive shoes, but this one felt the best. When the shoe finally had some of the outer stitching come loose and wear out (though the inner stitching stayed intact very well), my husband had me find this same shoe online at walmart.com.

Comfortable shoe and lasts reasonably long

i work at a warehouse probably logging 30 miles a day scraping my shoes against pallets, racks, each other, etc. as you can guess i'm really hard on shoes. these tennies give a comfort level that keeps my dogs from barking too loud when i get home. and since my shoes go through the meat grinder at work, i can pay this a lot easier than 80 - 120 for Nike Shox. amazingly, the last pair were still wearable when i had to ditch them, there were no tears on the sides or front. i had to get rid of them because a layer of the sole was peeling off. that was really unusual because the front and sides usually will get tears or peel off of the sole on other shoes but this one was good until the sole gave out. i didn't expect the level of quality with this shoe that i got. and it's a handsome shoe. all for less than 20 bucks. i got an extra pair in case this line disappears before i need it again.

best shoe for the price so far

This shoe has been greatly improved with this latest version. The previous peter shoes were too wide for me and had little cushioning in the midsole. Avia has now switched this model to a soft, yet dense Phylon midsole material that makes the cushioning way better than before. Phylon is a midsole material Nike invented decades ago and now other companies are using it instead of the standard compression molded EVA midsole. I HAVE TO MAKE CLEAR THOUGH: This listing fails to tell you some important information about these shoes. That is the the WHITE model and BLACK model come in WIDE WIDTH although this listing says nothing about whether they are standard D width or EE wide width. I ordered two pair of these: one in all white and one in the white/navy colorway thinking they were both wide widths. I had to take the white/navy ones back for a return since they were too narrow and came in the regular D width.

On my 4th pair of these shoes.  They are really comfortable and durable for knocking about the house and being casual and comfortable.  When you get them adjusted just right they are easy to slip into using a shoehorn. 

Being retired I spend a lot of time working on houses, painting, repairing.  Yard work.  Working around the house,  crawling around under cars,  doing general chores.  These shoes feel comfortable all day long.  They take a beating,  they get splattered with paint,  they look ugly,  but they hold up.

Wide width  no pinched toes... being as they are athletic shoes and padded,  I get a half size larger than my shoe size.

Great Value for the price

These shoes are OK for the price, but don't expect a Nike or New Balance. They are comfortable. They are constructed of all-synthetic material with no leather...

Avia Peter Shoes

I have ordered these twice thinking a mistake was made in the warehouse.  Both times, the shoes I received are WIDE width, but there is no mention of it on the website.  Had to return the order twice.  Don't order this shoe if you don't want a WIDE shoe.

Shoes not described accurately

Walmart, like Kmart and Target, had to change availability on what was a very good product.  In this case, this shoe was offered in a "wide" size in both black and white colors, but no more! The supposed replacements (other styles) in 4E version or Dr. Sholls are not viable substitutes.  I would have gladly paid an additional $5 that I could continue getting  these shoes in my size, 13W.
