yeah it's surely not around the middle.. it appears smaller than our other beanbag that was 96".. i measured it and it's about 30" from end to end and 26" width.. really stuffed with beans so it's not easy to sit 'in'.. also they now have a metal ring preventing the zipper from opening.. keep your box if you have it delivered as if it tears you'll have to return it via mail on this one..

Did I read the specs correctly - 96" in diameter (I am guessing from end to end of the football, and not across the middle) ?

I sit on it with my kids on my lap. It's not really long enough for me to sit and recline back so my head is resting on the beanbag. But an adult can certainly sit in it for sure. And it's good and strong, so I am not worried about it ripping.

Yes! I'm average weight and height woman and I have no problem ... My son is 11 and weighs 116 so they seem really strong!!

Can this product also be good for older kids/adults?

I purchased the Football one for my son and my 6ft 220 pd husband sits in it playing video games with our boys. It is pretty stiff and sturdy. But not as big as i imagined it would be. It is cute for a small child!

I bought this product for my 4 and 5 yr old sons and it is just the right size for them. I wouldn't recommend it for older children. I think it would be too small.

It's not too comfy for even my 4 yr old girl who weighs only about 32 lbs. The football one is much better.

What is the weight limit for this bean bag? (96" vinyl soccer ball bean bag. Model number 96627). Looking to buy for boys ages 9 and 12. Thank you

So I this is perfect for my 4 year old. It's the perfect size and goes with his Sports themed room perfectly. I would highly recommend. It's comfortable to.

WE SENT THIS TO OUR YOUNG NEPHEW FOR CHRISTMAS! HE'S AN AVID RUTGERS FAN! HE LOVES THE CHAIR AND WE COULDN'T BE HAPPIER. WE ALSO BOUGHT 2 BASEBALL BEAN BAG SEATS FOR OUR GRANDSONS! HOMERUN!!! bought this for my two nephews, age 5 and 6. they love the chairs and they are durable for not only sitting in but the wiggling and the jumping they do on them. Im very happy with them. great value. i also like the idea that though i am in idaho, i could purchase this item and have it shipped site to store in kentucky where my sister could pick the items up and take them home. Very very convenient for families who are separated by miles.

I'm a cheap person, but this is worth the money. My boyfriend sits on the soccer ball without any issues. He is 182 pounds. My kids love them. They are packed full of beans, but it's not as bad as other reviews tried to make it seem. He support is cool and no complaints from the family. It's not small as some reviews state. The fact that we can wipe these off is the best feature for me

This is the one

Just opened it and it seems well made from what I can tell so far. At first glance it appears smaller than my other chair that is 96" around.. on this chair the 96" is on the ends of the football.. it's slightly oblong like a real football so it's about 30" long and 26" wide or so. This bag is stuffed to the max and there isn't as much give as with the other regular bean bag chair we bought.. I know it will ease down as they always do so this isn't a concern. But when it's new and you sit on it, you're pretty well held up by it and don't cradle down into it.. The only problem I have is that, at least on mine, they put a metal ring through the material where the zipper is to prevent the zipper from being opened.. I could cut it off but this leaves the small holes it made..... why they did this is beyond me. If it tears there within the month time period i'll be taking it back for exchange.. it's too close to Christmas to exchange it right now and i'm not decided on this being a problem yet. But other than that it's a good item.. I have a 4 year old and it appears to be good size.. i'm not sure how older kids would fit on it though.. the girl in the picture represents the size well I think.. it's more for 'leaning on' than for 'cradling into'.. if you're larger than a toddler.

Cute and comfortable! Fits for adults but only to sit on, not really a BIG one where you can kinda lay or anything. But it's a great size, comfortable, the only thing is: the baseball one, the red lines are more like a brown then red.
