They contain 2% miconazole nitrate. I'm not sure if they sell that percentage at wal mart. Maybe at walgreens or CVS.

The suppositories are 200 mg miconazole. The external cream contains 2% miconazole.

They're not the "ovules" that used to be used. Still considered suppositories I believe, but the medicine is not in any little bubble. You just unwrap the package and it's in there.

Does the 3 day Equate Miconzole come without the suppositiries as does Monistat 3 day?

Ik this question was a year ago but just in case anyone is looking for the same answer right now. I've had BV and over the counter med doesn't cure it. Sadly but you need a prescription antibiotic for BV. nothing else will take it away.

Can this be used for bv?? If not, any information on what can be used over the counter....

This product is great. The cream relieves the symptoms right away. Suppositories feel awkward and gross but they do the job needed and clear up the issue.

Great for the price

The miconazole 3 day pack works very well for me! I would definitely recommend that you save a bit of money and skip the name brand, as this works just as well. I also suggest taking the 3 day as opposed to the 1 day, which caused SEVERE pain and burning. The 3 day has never caused any discomfort for me personally, and I will continue to use it in the future.

Go-to Treatment

After 22 hours i felt a huge relief. After 48 hours i felt cured but i still continued to use the full 3 days. You basically pit this in as if you would a tampon. Its not thick or big. So i did have a mild yeast infection due to recently getting Mirena Implant. My symptoms were not extremely bad if not i would suggest going with a 7 day treatment. This worked just fine for me as i recognized the infection right away

Great Product! Works like Brand Names

The product works as it should. 
I had no problems with melting. It is not messy and fairly easy to use. 
I will say that it does stick to the applicator and does not always insert correctly. 
Other than that it works great, not messy, and priced right.

As Good as High Priced Ones

As a few other reviewers may have mentioned, the main con with this product is the fact that it melts. You must keep it in a cool place until use. The first one I used, melted and it was heck getting it out of the package. The second one, I keep in cooler temperature and when I was in the shower, I dropped it in a cup of water to keep it cooler than the bathroom temperature. It worked fine. The third one appeared to be fine, but, when I put it in the injector it stuck inside of there and I had to dig it out and insert it with my finger.

Overall, it is a lot cleaner and you don't have to deal with excessive leakage. Once I got the little suppository in, it was non existence. I wish they included more cream with it. I would recommend this product to a friend.

Great if you're at home, not so much for on the go

The medicine itself works great. They have them individually wrapped but the wrappers are hard to pull apart and have no grips, so if my fingers arent slipping off I end up launching the medicine suppository across my bathroom from pulling the tabs so hard! The medicine suppository also sticks in the applicator and does not stay up in where it's supposed to be placed so I have to push it back up as far as I can with my finger. The applicator also doesnt have much for grip so my fingers slide all over as I'm trying to push up the insertion button. I will still buy the product as its affordable and it works but there should be some modifications done to the product delivery systems...

Works

Felt a twinge of an infection coming, so I decided to get a jump on it and use this three day product, even though I typically use the seven day product. MISTAKE, MY LADIES. I inserted the ovule before I went to sleep, then was awakened at two AM by the worst pain and burning I have ever experienced in my life. I've torn my Achilles heel and had a miscarriage, and this hurt worst. It was unbearable for a total of eleven hours, the only thing that helped was an ice pack on the Fire Area. I equate it with shoving an entire diced Carolina Reaper up your hooha, then sitting atop a gas grill.

I'm unsure if it healed the infection, but good lord, I'd rather deal with the infection over Literal Heck Downstairs.
