No this Koozie is not designed for pour in drinks. The top section has a treaded seal to the lower section to seal the can so no air circulation. If you have an empty beer or soda pop can, you can pour your coffee into that and then use this Koozie, but can not use this Koozie by itself for your coffee or any liquid by itself.

Not for coffee, cans or bottles only. Black plastic top threads on and it&#39;d be impracticable to drink coffee from with the threading.

Since there is No enclosed top on this koozie cup it would not keep your coffee hot long. The main purpose in the lid on this cup is to grip a can or bottle to hold it snug in place. I would choose the 20oz for keeping something hot longer, plus its the same exact price and larger.

Just canned or bottled drinks. That black plastic on top is NOT a cover, and pouring any real hot liquid in there will heat up the koozie and scald your hand. You need a traditional double-walled thermos for hot drinks.

I ordered from Walmart online and also bought some in the stores. When I check online, the store showed they were out of stock although I looked anyway and found several. Just keep looking because they have become quite popular and are selling very quickly.

Is this Made just to keep canned drinks cool or can you pour coffee into it to keep it hot longer?

The koozie has a stainless steel ring around the cap that you screw on.  Sometimes you are just spinning that stainless steel ring instead of the actual cap.  Could this be your issue?  In my case, I took the stainless steel ring off the cap and just tightened that way. If you notice the Yeti version there is no stainless cap.

It should not be difficult at all. I don&#39;t know what the problem could be with a new product. I could see a problem if the koozie gets dented. I kinda think that denting the koozie would be difficult with normal use. I do keep mine in the cooler with the beverages until want to use it. The instructions say to keep it out of the freezer.

It is a cup koozie not a cup. Maybe you could pour your hot drink into a clean drink can and then use the koozie but that seems like a lot of extra work. Look for an insulated cup.

I didn&#39;t have much of an issue.
My issue was the metal ring on the top separated from the plastic.

This is specifically made to hold a 12oz soda can.
Ozark makes other ones that may better suit your needs.

Is it supposed to be super hard to get the plastic top back on over the can? We bought 2 and both were extremely hard to get the top screwed on.

Great product

Used in the desert this summer, kept my soda and water bottles ice cold much longer than expected. Every sip was as good as the first. I was amazed at how well this works in an outdoor environment! 8.4 oz Red Bulls stayed cold longer when you add ice to the cooler and fill in the air gap. If you do this, tilting the cooler too far back can spill water and ice can. Indoors I felt this was not necessary to have but it still extends the cold time. I own 2 and will probably buy more.
